Part of my tour included a visit to Windsor castle. We took a long bus ride from our hotel to get to the castle. Once inside it was all a self guided tour, I made the mistake of not getting the audio guide. The grounds and various places to visit are very interesting and I did get to see a changing of the guards, once they start marching make sure you get out of the way.

We visited the chapel as part of the general tour of Windsor Castle.

Sadly we visit in the afternoon and time was running out to properly explore and experience all that there is to see. It was wonderful to see the resting place of Jane Seymour and of course Queen Elizabeth 11.

We are already planning a longer visit in the summer and hope to attend a service next time.

I am just after reading a review from 1 year ago and it seems the same problems persist. We waited for almost an hour to go on the duplo airport. It was understaffed, one person height checking, loading, securing safety bar and ensuring gates were closed. All of this coupled with fast track customers led to too long a wait for tots. Other attractions such as the Driving School were also a very long wait for a 'Blink and You Missed It' event. Two of the attractions were broken down, the Duplo Dino Coaster and Haunted House Monster Party. Others were not open, maybe the time of year. Basically same complaint one year on.

We were pleasantly surprised to find this property open daily when so many have closed or gone to restricted hours. We did not see the gardens (too cold) but the house was a delight and was seen by 1 hour guided tours booked on arrival. Our guide , Mr Walker, gave us an excellent history of the house and it's owners and he included details that would not otherwise be seen. He, the shuttle bus availability to cover the steep and long (for some) walk to the house and the fact that the house was open on a January weekday deserves a rare 5* from us! It is a shame that nobody replies to the few negative reviews on TA and we should mention that, in out view, the property, and particularly the tours, are unsuitable for visitors with mobility issues.

We went to panto, first time for father in law (9th time for my daughter and me). The actors were as always amazing. Window Twankie and wishiewash were astounding! Had us crying with laughter. Steven and Kevin are a great duo and make us laugh year after year. Anita Harris was true to form. Totally recommend! Will be booking again!

A lot of people go to Windsor to see the castle, wrong. The brewery and bar is the highlight of any trip to the historic town. Great venue, amazing beers, lovely staff.
