Very clean and well-kept even off-season. The cafe was clean and served a lovely breakfast. Staff were very friendly and there were lots of lovely tidbits of information dotted across the building.

What a great place this is in Halifax surrounded by history and great architect in one place lovely old building and well kept. There a few greats bar and shops in here and in summer I been told it host world famous acts and get over 3000 plus people at one concert, which is amazing to see this place at its full potential. I also been told it been used to film a Disney movie which sound great. You won’t see many places like this in the uk it one off a kind and well worth a visit trust me you be blow away by the building.

fantastic place, £5 adults and children are free, the volunteers were so friendly and knowledgeable, it was great to see all the machines and different things that halifax is famous for or produced/made, there was a trail for the children and once completed they received a certificate, we spent about 2-3 hours there and enjoyed it all, i would highly recommend a visit, its open saturdays and then on a thursday in school holidays, there is a cafe that serves drinks and cake, we didn't go in as we were ready for dinner, but i heard good things about it

This is a great place. We stayed for 5 hours and still didn’t do everything. Just a couple of gripes. Lockers are needed to store belongings, rather than some coat rails at the back where you just take the chance that no one is going to steal your coat. Fruit juice or water should be an option with the kids lunchbox in the cafe. Apart from that a brilliant day out!

Sqaure Chapel's Red Brick Theatre is a nice venue. It's not too big and not too small. Signposting for the toilets could be improved. Apart from that, what's not to like?

Lovely visit . Lovely place . I remember it well from my childhood and although I prefer the older look and being scared to walk around a corner this fresh look is lovely

Wonderful circular walk, about 2Km, so perfect with kids.
We went at new years, following a couple of weeks of solid rain, so it was a muddy surface, but was flat so nothing extreme.
Lovely picnic / duck feeding area.
Nice to have waterscape views, as well as sections of woodland on the same walk.

Pleasantly surprised to find the park was just behind my Air Bnb so this made for a great location to walk my dogs.

Stopped off in Sowerby Bridge to break our journey home. The canal is lovely, with the deepest lock in the UK, a nice sculpture and you can walk along the towpath

Been here many times to music events. Excellent selection of ales brewed on site, very pleasant and helpful staff and a great venue to relax and try the 40 plus different brewed ales and ciders.
