In all it's a great few hours for the young ones to enjoy..and if the weather is nice then pack a picnic tho there are cafes on site.
There were picnic areas with lovely countryside views and a cafe.

... to do the full walk - plenty of wildlife ducks, herons, jumping fish sometimes and this time we noticed a large eel in the shallows - great at any time of the year with fabulous views of the castle and cathedral

Wow ,was amazing beautiful views and wonderful walks all along the coast.
A mix of harbours, old churches and towns plus industrial sites are a back cloth for lovely cliffs and beaches.

a very well maintained and open heritage site managed by english heritage, serviced by a cafe in the summer and a perfect place for a picnic and walk.

The site has plenty to do, inside and out, play areas, animals to pet, throughout the day there were little events programmed, magic show, bird of prey show, tractor rides, etc.
Lots to do for everyone, views are stunning.

... climb .When you get hungry there are lots of places to eat .My favorite is The Crows nest pub and restaurant with lovely views out to sea and where there is always a warm welcome and lots going on in the summer .
We came to this coastal town to visit the war memorial , Tommy the soldier, a fantastic site .
