Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Great beach, we went on a sunny day and it was the perfect amount of business. There is parking right next to the beach on the harbour and lots of shops and restaurants. Can hire sun loungers too. Only thing to improve would be toilets are 5 min walk from beach.

We walked around the harbour to see how quickly the tide filled it up as at the start of our walk, there was no water in the harbour. We watched the sea coming in and it came in quite fast as by the time we had walked , stopped to look at the crabbing places and along the wall to the end, the harbour was already covered in water. We watched the people on the beach starting to move off as the tide was coming in quickly however, some dogs were still running into the sea as they were loving it. The beaches are really nice with soft sand sand plenty of seating areas.

We visited this place on Saturday 20th April by walking from Saundersfoot town. The tunnel was closed due to falling rocks so we walked along the beach and over the rocks which was tricky at times. On arrival at the Wiseman’s Bridge Inn, we had drinks and sat outside looking out across the beach to the sea. Lots of people with their dogs on the beach and dogs running in the sea chasing balls etc. The weather was very sunny so we sat there for a while before attempting the walk back along the beach to Saundersfoot.

We have just visited Periwinkle Pottery as part of a hen weekend. The selection of pottery to paint, colour choices and workspace were amazing. we really appreciated the thoughtful touch of a keepsake for the bride. We had prosecco throughout the session and it’s was just a really fantastic activity. The staff were very kind, thank you.

The four of us had never paddle boarded before but wished to try the SUP experience.
My sister initially contacted Alan to make enquiries about taster sessions.
He was very prompt in his replies so we booked in for a 90min lesson.
There was six of us in total and Alan made sure we all had the correct equipment before heading out.
Alan was precise and encouraging in his teaching method. And with the appropriate level of humour!
It did not take long (45mins) before we were all standing up on our boards and by the end of the lesson were feeling very pleased with ourselves! We went paddle boarding again a couple of days later. We messaged Alan our day and time of our request and he had everything ready on our arrival. Great experience and thoroughly enjoyed learning a new skill. I would highly recommend Alan and his operation.

This new museum has just opened at the Old Coal Office and the Coastal Schooner in Saundersfoot. It was perfect for a wet chilly Christmas Eve with helpful staff and brand new displays. The Coal Office combines the history of Pembrokeshire with the heritage of coal mining in and around Saundersfoot and their railways and harbour. You need to ask to have the Schooner opened in the harbour where the displays focus on the nautical history of Pembrokeshire including smuggling and piracy. Highly recommended.

I was looking for family graves of ancestors. Records state that they are buried in this church yard, but I was unable to find any headstones, so I presume they were too poor to afford headstones.

A beautiful little gallery just a stone's throw from the beach in Saundersfoot. The artist has taken inspiration from his coastal surroundings and has created some stunning ceramics that are well worth having a look at. Richard has a website too so you can see his latest creations long after you've returned from your holiday! Highly recommended.
