Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

I wanted to visit Ch Gruaud Larose as I have enjoyed their wines over many years (as far back as 1978). Our tour guides were Cindy and Lucy and they did us proud - we had a wonderful time at Ch Gruard Larose. The tour started with a trip to the top of the six-story lookout tower. What a view of the estate. (Do any other chateaux have this facility?) We then visited the fermentation rooms and cellars. Cindy and Lucy took us through the vinification process in detail and were willing/able to answer our questions - always engaging and professional in their approach.
Then back to the starting point for the tasting. Three wines from different labels and vintages - all very good in the context of their aging and prices.
I still have several vintages of GL in my cellar and I shall reflect happily on this visit when I open them!

Our guide, Cindy, was delightful--smart, funny and informative. My husband and I got a private tour of the beautiful vineyards, barrel room and tank room. We met winemaker and cellar workers along the way and all were very cordial. And the wine! C'est tres bon!If only visit one chateau in Bordeaux, make it Chateau Branaire-Ducru.

An absolutely amazing experience to visit Chateau Beychevelle.
We booked a tour on short notice, and Sarah did a splendid job, both telling us about the history of the chateau, and about how the winery works.
Sarah is very knowledgeable, communicates very well in English, taught us a lot about wine tasting and was just our perfect guide!

Worth mentioning is that they started harvesting the grapes yesterday, so we really got to see how grapes turn into wine!

We can only give 5 stars!
