Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

- Pavla FPrague, Czech Republic7 contributionsParco della Maremma is my spiritual home. A paradise on earth where the forest meets the sea. - JanuszRomanEurope1,238 contributionsMarina di Grosseto is packed in the same way as Rimini in the East Coast of Italy. Thousands of lounge/beach chairs with umbrellas. The sea could be warm, but also could be very cold. It was really cold on the day we were there (August 15th) - some cold-water currents. But the beaches are well organized and Bagno Moderno was not an exception.Written 4 September 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Rica TTallinn, Estonia40 contributionsVery friendly staff although we arrived close to the closing time. Had a really nice wine 🍷 tasting. You must try Baffonero Maremma Toscana 👍! Gorgeous and the best designed wine cellar 📷 !Written 1 June 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- westy54Sydney, Australia13,543 contributionsI had seen this farm highlighted in a television special in Australia about very well educated children who are leaving well paid jobs in the cities, eg in finance, law etc, to return to the family farms and introduce innovative techniques and new products to try and bring them into the 21st century. In this instance from memory the farm already had buffalo but the son convinced the parents to employ a very experienced mozzarella cheese maker/s from Compania (the home of buffalo mozzarella) and to install a totally new and very modern cheese making production facility. Judging from what we saw and what we tasted, this is a success.
The shop (a very unassuming orange brick building standing on its own in the middle of the fields) is located within the farm on the flat plains of the Maremanna, less than 10 kilometres from the coast and the Tyrrenian Sea, and only a couple of kilometres from a military airbase (the noise was deafening as the jets took off and landed and we wondered whether this adversely impacted the buffalo - no they have been here for a few decades and are used to it).
The building containing the shop front also housed the cheese making production facility which you could see through a glass window.
A very pleasant young lady gave us a taste of the mozzarella (delicious) and explained what cheeses were on offer which included buffalo ricotta, burrata plus a number of others. They also had a range of buffalo milk yoghurts and buffalo meat products plus several other local farm products.
We had 2 buffalo milk cappuccinos, purchased a number of different cheese products and left with change out of €20.
There was a machine there that issued numbers so that the people serving know who is next in line so I am assuming it can get very busy.
Worth a visit if staying locally but would not travel far to purchase goods.
We did not do the farm tour.Written 9 October 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. One of the many Etruscan sites that should be visited in the area.Written 15 July 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. We particularly liked the models of different types of houses, they gave a very visual idea of how people lived in different periods.Written 1 September 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - ArizonainakWickenburg, AZ1 contributionLovely, quaint Grosseto to take relaxing strolls. Many ristorantes/cafes with delicious aromas wafting from their doors. Interesting architecture of the Duomo di SanLorenzo. Especially interesting to be within the walls of the ancient city. Delighted to travel thru Toscana and be away from the crowds. Gorgeous weather too!Written 21 September 2017This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.

- SergioEvergreenEvergreen, CO133 contributionsIt's a nice small port though as an ex-boater (47ft aft cabin) I found the docking over crowded. The location is great and apparently they have repair services and a lift but did not use it. Lot's of great restaurants and easy walk away.Written 24 July 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
