Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Very interesting place. In addition to monastery the impressive art collection. Spectacular mountain views. I wish we bought package without train tickets from Barcelona. We went to Manresa later and ended up paying more than if we got separate ticket.

Ironically now a peaceful square only a few metres from the crowded alleys of the old town. During the civil war a bomb exploded which you can still see at the walls of the church.

We saw the outside of the synagogue, built on the ruins of an ancient Roman structure. The building itself is very small and nondescript, because in Medieval Spain a synagogue 🕍 was never allowed to be taller or bigger than the smallest church ⛪️ in the city.

Just in front of my apartment. Very nice place to visit but too many homeless around. Could be dirty sometimes. Should look after it.

Firstly, I would like to point out that the chapel and the holy cave are as one. I thought they were actually two different places, but the holy cave is housed within the small divine chapel. The chapel is nothing much to look at apart from the fact that it's dug into the rock face hence the holy cave. It's got to be seen as this is where the whole story of Montserrat and the Black Madonna really begins, plus it's an easy walk from the funicular with great views along the way.

Santuari de la Mare de Dèu de Queralt us a church located near Berga, in pre-Pyrenees Region, in Catalonia. It was built in the 14th Century and it was restored in the 20th Century. The main church is nice and you can enter an see the altar. Also, it is possible to go to a little hermitage in the surroundings of the main church and do some walks around the place. For me, the best part are the views of Berga, pre-Pyrenees and the surroundings, you can see from the sanctuary.

Surprisingly interesting and very well kept monestary. The guide told us many anecdotes and interesting details in a fun way which made it possible to understand much better the significance of the building.

In the lovely Plaza S. Pedro is this fine Benedictine Monastery. Although begun in the 10th century, little is still extant of the original.

However it is a very impressive edifice in fine stone. An ornate entrance way is capped by a seated Saint. Gargoyles are another feature.

At the Plaza’s centre is a decorative potable water fountain.

Santuario Nuestra Señora de Queralt is a religious place located in the surroundings of Berga, the main town in pre-Pyrenees Region, in Catalonia. In fact, it is located in a upper place, from where you can see very beautiful views of Berga and surroundings. Also, you can enter in the main church and walk until the little chapel. Also, it is possible to do some walks/hikes in the zone and here begins the trail of catars. Very beautiful lookout.

They are two different places. Booth Sanctuarium, but dedicated to 2 different Mare de Deu, and 20 km. away from each other.

In the heart of the Park of Garraf, there in a modernista Palace from 1890 líes a Buddista Monastry. It is a winding Road leading to the Monastry either by foot or car. the Monastry has a museum where activities can be enjoyed. The Monastry is only open at the weekend to visitors, you have to pay for a guided tour. There is also a small gift shop/café.
Personally its a long way out and I thought on the while It was quite disappointing and rather unkempt. The garden área lacked attention and the lake had been drained and abandoned. There are some vantage points where you can see the beach of Castelldefels from quite a great height.
If you are joking go prepares with drink and good as there are no shops in the surronding countryside.

Climb up to the Ermita for the view of the coast and sea, but irregular hours, so may be closed. Charming little church. Worth a walk up.
