Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Highly recommended, we got a lot out of the experience - great way to see some highlights and we could still continue to wander the museum on our own afterwards.

Stunning church and frescoes were made even more alive with Giada, our guide’s, expert knowledge and passion. She also very kindly guided us up the steps and tight spaces so that everyone felt comfortable. Definitely worth it to have someone to tell you the background information and also to point out interesting things I would have missed. Giada was excellent.

My only slight disappointment was that I wanted to go back in the museum later because our time was short there but the ticket was only good for one visit.

Matt was our guide. He has very deep knowledge of both Florence and art. He gave us insight into the sculptures and paintings that would not have been possible just by taking the audible tour offered by the museums. He really engaged our group and made the tour a blast. I can’t recommend him enough. There’s no wait with City Experiences which is also pretty awesome. I’ve used this firm in several cities in northern Spain/ Portugal and have never been disappointed.

I visited David at least 3 times before, took a look for more than a moment. Admired it and moved on. But this time around I was pretty engaged and stood there by his side for the entire hour. It was really really worth it. I was greeted on arrival, was informed that my name was on the list. Given a radio set that works ! Entrance was a breeze. The guide took us on all 4 sides of David and little did I realized that there was so much more to the history of his making. Overall, totally impressed. 5 stars.

Fabulous! We had a great guide she was wonderful and so knowledgable. I have done Florence before many times, but my family first time. And I learned a lot from our guide! The David is breathtaking! I must say the Duomo Climb is not for everyone. Once you get up there it is AMAZING. but the climb up is really hard. I kept thinking we were almost there and we weren't! But like I said - once you re there its worth it!

We had a blast at the 4 villages we visited. Some of the trips were very challenging with many hills/slopes & steps to climb.
Tour guide Roberto is very organized, kind and knowledgeable.
    Highly recommended.

We spent the morning with Guido on our tour, who brought so much knowledge and perspective to our tour! His sensitivity to our needs was plainly evident as he made sure we were comfortable in climbing the dome and made it OK for those who didn't want to. Very thoughtful and knowledgeable, wonderful guide!!!

Great trip and wonderful guide! Morad was incredibly knowledgeable of the history and area which we enjoyed. The visit to a family vineyard in Montecino was incredible with a lovely Tuscan lunch.

CiaoFlorence Tours are everything they say they are. I (63) traveled with my aunt (67) to Venice. Our nephew (20, who is studying abroad in Florence) met us in Venice where we stayed three nights. We participated in the Inside Venice Combo Tour: Guided Visit To Doge's Palace & St Mark's Basilica and it was very interesting; our tour guide spoke fluent English and was very knowledgeable and passionate about Venice. We also participated in three other CiaoFlorence Tours in Florence (Pisa, Siena & San Gimignano Day Trip with Lunch & Wine Pairing; Small Group Accademia Gallery Guided Tour With Skip The Line; Skip The Line: Florence Duomo Cathedral Small Group Guided Tour) and they were all excellent with great tour guides. The instructions on where the meeting places were located were excellent; they stayed on schedule; the staff were all friendly. We also purchased the Florence Airport Private Departure Transfer from the Hotel. They picked us up on time, 6:00 am, in a clean Mercedes and transported to the airport in a timely and safe fashion. The driver was friendly. I'd highly recommend CiaoFlorence services.

This was well worth it! The views were amazing, and the guide was great. I think it is always helpful to have a guide share the history and perspective when visiting a local monument such as this.

We loved our tour with Alessandra! She was so knowledgeable about Florence, both its history and its food. We tried a great variety of delicious foods and Alessandra explained the relevance of each meal. We particularly loved the mouthwatering beef in red wine and the excellent wild boar salami. We also appreciated the visit to the leather school and the breathtaking stone artwork. We would highly recommend this tour. Thanks for the memories.

The tour office is right next to the Uffizi and well marked. They speak many languages and there is a small bakery and lunch place next door. We started on time and our tour guide Ivano was spectacular. We have done many tours and he has been one of the best ever. He did not waste time with idle chit-chat or jokes, he is serious about his art and history and even has photos on his phone to show you in depth details and information about the art/artist he is discussing in the museums. We were exhausted having traveled from Rome at 5 am, but he still kept us engaged and interested because of his clear passion and deep knowledge for art. The tours did not have a break in between as discussed in other reviews, they went back to back which was perfect for us. Ivano also gave us a quick city tour as we walked to the Accademia, which again was perfect as we had not booked a city tour. Highly recommend!!!
