The most beautiful, fabulous, fun evening at Healeys. Amazing food.
Taster session was so much fun and relaxing, Steve was absolutely fantastic, his knowledge regarding all the drinks, making everyone feel welcome. It felt like we were all in a big group not just out with my husband.

The host Joe was equally fantastic it felt like we were at a house party not in a restaurant as the atmosphere was so relaxing. Nothing was to much trouble, we could wonder around not restricted to our table.

We happily brought some drinks to take home. No pressure at all and we brought some drinks we never even thought about trying before.

The whole team where amazing and we will definitely be returning in the near future 🙌

Well worth a visit if you’re in Truro. Very attractive interior. The cafe serves very nice cake and coffee with a view of the garden.

I booked this as an end of summer treat for my family before normality resumes. Myself, my partner and 2 children aged 11 and 6 loved it! We all had so much fun and the bonus is..it’s great for people of all ages. My 6 year old who is not very confident in the water and quite timid, loved going down the slip and slide on his own in the rubber ring after a couple confidence slides with myself and partner. My 11 year old loved going down head first on the body board and bailing at the end when he eventually reached the flags. Not forgetting the times when he came off the board and it following him behind and then slipping over on the slide trying to get off. An absolute memory we will treasure and helped my youngest child’s confidence so much. It was so lovely to see. We all had such a great experience and we will definitely be back next year!

We're local and love coming here.

The flies in the cafe were quite bothersome and I didn't see any attempts to stop them.

Also the cafe seating area was quite dirty (internal)

A real gem of a place! Very interesting exhibitions in a beautiful building. Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Would thoroughly recommend visiting, especially while the Egyptian exhibits are there as they are quite stunning.

The refurbished venue has a lovely feel about it, good views from most of the seating. Unfortunately, they have skimped on the seating horizontally as these are rows of seats rather than individual and, if you get near someone who likes to stamp feet and move wildly to music, you get motion sickness as the whole row rocks and shakes. Reminiscent of cheap seats from years ago and makes for a very uncomfortable experience. A few bracing bars every few seats would easily stop this, not sure why this wasn't thought through during the expensive refit.
They also need to get the balance between accompanying music and singers right - was too loud when we went last time meaning you couldn't hear the singing that well as it was so distorted.
On a plus note (and the reason for 4 not 3 stars) are the wonderful volunteers we've encountered on our visits to date, all have been friendly, welcoming and helpful and a real plus for the venue.

Lovely range of stalls. Friendly stall owners (coffee shop - landmark) gives the piaza a lovely community feel.

A stunning walk with forest, fields and coast lines with lots of history along the way. Download iwalk Cornwall to assist it guides you each step of the way with a history guide £2.99 but well worth it. We had lunch at The Heron pub about 3 quarters away through the walk and had a fantastic lunch. A lovely day all round.

I like searching out local markets like this on my travels in the West Country.
The Pannier market was quite busy on our midweek visit on a showery day in November.
I enjoyed a good browse through the book stall - there were some decent railway books there though none that were new to me. Meanwhile the helpful shoe repair shop sorted out a couple of small items for my partner.
