Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

- toomanybedsME359 contributionsOn a sunny late autumn afternoon, I’m struggling to think of any Welsh castle which could be lovelier than Laugharne Castle. The romantic ruin is set in the most beautiful gardens on the edge of the estuary, it is kept immaculately and run by charming staff. Given that the town of Laugharne has much to commend it, and the great Dylan Thomas boathouse and grave as well, a visit here is a must see on any visit to Wales.Written 27 October 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Marjorie A16 contributionsWe were very impressed by this museum, so much to see about life in the area. As a disabled visitor I was most impressed by the spacious area and accessibility. I cannot speak too highly about this, not always the case. If I have one thing to mention, and I know there is a lot of improvements being made, it is the access from the car park, where there is a gully without a level place to get over in a mobility scooter, may I suggest a cover just in one place to allow travel across . That was my only grievance on my very enjoyable visit. PS the cafe was excellent too.Written 30 October 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Petula48Ammanford, UK38 contributionsWent on this tour this evening. Lovely food and excellent entertainment.
On arrival we wre greeted and taken onboard and shown our seats for the evening. The carriages outside had been festively decorated with lighting - very effective.
The food was really nice and hot. The tour went on longer than expected having left at after 6pm and returning at 10.30.
The actors were fantastic, but the biggest thanks goes to the wonderful volunteers who make journeys like this possible.Written 3 November 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - FyingKiwiChristchurch, New Zealand1,131 contributionsAlmost entirely destroyed, with its destruction occurring from the seventeenth century which apparently continued relatively unabated since. Not a great deal left to see but may be worth a quick look if in the area.Written 10 May 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. My GG grandparents lived not far forom it along LLammas st. apart from the outstanding beauty and condition of this church a credit to those who look after it.
