Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Super day out! Throughly enjoyed the safari. Grounds and gardens were very well kept. Best part was the house tour. Our guide Polly had an infectious enthusiasm for the house, very informative, entertaining and stories galore. One of the best stately homes we have seen. Good days entertainment well worth the money, would highly recommend.

A perfect place for an evening stroll.
We were in Bath on a short break and popped to Morrisons. We saw this park and decided to visit. We went back 3 evenings. Such fabulous facilities for children.

I went with my teenage kids and my mother. We had a great day out, and packed a ton in. We did the VIP safari tour which was the definite highlight of the day. Our guide, Antonia, was excellent and knowledgeable (she’s studying for an Animal Management degree!) and deadpan hilarious, with a couple of dad jokes thrown in for good measure. A solid five stars for her and the whole tour experience.

After the safari, we had to slightly hustle through the rest of the animals, but we did manage to make time for the boat trip, which was well worth it for the baby sea lions alone. We rounded the day out with a house tour, which I probably would skip next time, as it just wasn’t really my interest, although Ian, our guide, was very entertaining. Quite eye opening to compare the cost of the day with the purportedly million pound wedding getup of Lady Bath on display in a hallway.

We went to see the pantomime as a family and for a local theatre it was a fantastic show with plenty of laughs, people of all ages came and we will definitely book again as a family event.

The theatre is well looked after, welcoming staff mainly volunteers and good facilities including a bar upstairs with plenty of space to sit in the interval or before the show. Also ice creams treats for the interval.

We are lucky to have such a gem of a place and is well supported by the community, well worth a visit !

We are glad to see the building expanding into the building next door with plenty of rooms for hire si becoming a real hub.

Wanted to try this tearoom for a while and was not disappointed.
It’s a little out of my way but made the effort to meet a friend for a catch up and not disappoint.
There was room to park at the front and room on the side of the road so shouldn’t have any problems parking if going by car.
We were welcomed by a really lovely bubbly lady and was told we could sit anywhere we liked and she would be over to take our order.
There were a few tables taken and we sat on the table by the window which was really lovely as the sunshine was beaming through the window.
It was Mother’s Day on the Sunday and it was decorated so lovely for that special day.
It’s a very pleasant cosy but not small palace, it just hugs you and makes you feel all warm so lovely.
There was some building work going on in the back garden as they were building a new patio/ outdoor area but didn’t really notice this but will go back and take a look at a later date.
We had a sweet potato jacket with cheese and beans which wasn’t actually on the menu but they was happy to do for us and a sandwich.
The jacket came out and it was massive but I managed to eat it all haha.
The sandwich had a really good amount of filling which was so nice as a lot of places it’s a little sparse,It all tasted really lovely.
The lovely lady popped over occasionally to check everything was ok but we wasn’t made to feel we should hurry up or order anything else which was great.
All in all a lovely atmosphere, pleasant surroundings, lovely staff and very good food which didn’t cost the earth so we will be visiting there again in the near future.

Little urchins is the best soft play in Warminster. The kids love it and you have healthy options to eat for both adults and children. Also good coffee 👍🏻👍🏻

Lovely place. Great for kids. Splash pad, park great.

Only downside side, we were under the impression the cafe served meals & had inside seating area.
Unfortunately only food on offer was hot dogs, biscuits, ice lollies, crisps.
Good selection of drinks, tea & coffee.
    No inside eating area.
Staff are lovely, friendly & helpful.

    So much unused potential there.

Dog friendly area/walks, but dogs are NOT allowed in cafe, play park & splash pad/paddling.

Very small market but great to support your local Pruduce and buying fresh bread. Milk meat eggs etc would be nice if it was bigger.

Stunning inside. Classic architecture, beautifully preserved roof and remarkable 13th century memorials to two Knights Crusaders.

In the 1970’s, I remembered reading a book called ‘The Warminster Mystery’, by Arthur Shuttlewood. However, it wasn’t till last week that I finally got to visit Warminster.

I searched Google for UFO-Warminster references and came up with the Warminster UFO mural and decided to have a look.

The mural was organised by the Warminster Information Centre, some years ago, to commemorate reports of the UFO sighting known as "The Warminster Thing”, in 1965.

The painting is on a wall in the Central Car Park, near the Warminster Community Hub. It’s easily missed and when I arrived, I drove straight past it and never even noticed.

If you are interested in alternative items to see, then this is certainly that ! Well worth a photo or two.
