Great spot for a picnic and a play on a sunny day. It was great to see the boats on Lough and the wild birds (ducks, swallows and swans)

Beautiful place. Quiet and serene with lots of nature around you. We walked round the reserve and went to the viewing platform and hide. We saw lots of common terns feeding their chick's out on the platform. Also there were lots of swans in the distance and swifts circling above. Spotted a few gadwall ducks too. The path to the hide was teeming with butterfly's and dragonflies. The reserve was a little hard to find down the end of a narrow lane.

Great work done so far with widening and re marking the paths. It's just a great pity that do many people don't know the difference between a bicycle and a pedestrian!

Lynastown Quaker Burial Ground is one of the oldest, if not the oldest Quaker graveyard in Ireland. The first burial was in 1658, although the indenture for its creation as a cemetery wasn't until 1673. It was ditched and fenced in. As in Quaker fashion, there are no early tombstones, and only five tombstones in total are now in evidence. It is thought that around 200 people are buried here. A number were weavers and tailors who supported the linen industry in Lurgan. Local civic groups keep the cemetery area mowed. This was the principal Quaker cemetery in the area until the cemetery attached to Lurgan Meeting came into being around 1697. Ancestors of the Hoope, Calvert, and Harlan(d) families, who came from England to avoid persecution and later left to settle the American Colonies of Pennsylvania and Maryland, are among those buried here.

Our BB group attended Airtastic on 7/12/23 7pm (P1-P7) and really enjoyed themselves. Manager and staff were all friendly and the arena was well supervised.

There for Fast & Furious. Recline seats and spacious seats are excellent. Shame there aren't trays for popcorn and sweets.
