Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

What travellers are saying
- We visited on a sunny day in September.
At this time of the year there is not much colour in the planted gardens, although shrubs and cultivated grasses do provide some nice foliage displays.
We did enjoy strolling through the extensive grounds and discovering the many glades and footpaths leading to the wildflower meadow (mown in September), the woodland garden and the azalea lawn.
There are a good number of seats provided around the grounds - although sadly many in very shaded damp spots.
We enjoyed coffee and cake in the excellent café at the end of our walk.
Entrance is £11.50 per adult - quite a lot to pay at this time of the year. Luckily we were able to take advantage of the Gardeners World 2 for 1 offer.Written 18 September 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - We had a fabulous, autumnal afternoon in the vineyard with a very informative tour guide and beautiful surroundings. It was fascinating to find out the background of a variety of vines and the details of wine making. So much fun and delicious wine too! Loved it!Written 23 October 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- My second visit to this property, and it still makes me sit and think how people in the past came to build this lovely little Baptist Church in the 1700's. It was built out of the way because it was founded in secret due to the persecution of Non-Conformist. Go and have a look.
When you drive down Loughwood Lane you will see the Chapel turn up the track and there is parking for two cars.Written 30 April 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
