Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

This is a museeum showing the history of the workers breaking lignite in this area. You will see houses from that time, machines and other historical items. You can have a tour around with a guide at the museeum and around the lakes which matured from breaking the lignite (Brown coal). Expect 2-2½hours including the time for driving around this spectacular and dangerous nature area.

Skovsnogen is an incredibly interesting place to visit, the forest walks themselves are worth the entry fee, which is free but requests a donation of 20kr, which is nothing for the amount of things there are to see

Not all of the art makes sense and some pieces are pointless, unclear or bonkers, which makes it all more interesting, there’s something for everyone,
Theres art you can play on like the seesaw bench or the giant snake, so there is some interactivity.

Some of the art must have taken an absolute huge amount of effort and talent so feel they deserve respect and that’s also why I have given a full five star review

The forest is also naturally beautiful and you can walk your dog so it just trumps most “museums” with the freedom it provides

I really enjoyed the walking and the majority of pieces in a tranquil environment and took time to view the pieces I liked and the walked past the pieces I didn’t, that’s the point of art, it’s subjective

I would visit again, preferably when it’s not just been raining as it was quite boggy, but overall, a real pleasant experience experience

There is a lot one can do here: walking, disc golf, mountain biking and picnics. This is a good place to take the family on a Sunday afternoon for a walk in nature and some cake by the bonfire. There are shelters as well that can be used. There are picnic tables scattered throughout the area and two flushing toilets that can be used. I highly recommend this place for people who like being out in nature, surrounded by trees and active.

Great place for a walk for adults and children. Easy to find and get to from Herning. We even saw some deer through the trees.

The park is quite centrally located, but at the same time offers a nice place to rest. Is has a small parking and offers space both for small children and young people at the same time. This divergent groups can be served at the same time and do not disturb each other much. The playground is nice both for very small kids (1yo) and early school age pupils. There are some grills if people would like to make BBQ.

I went fishing by Bjerrely with a group of friends. We had an awesome day at the lake. Its a quiet and beautiful spot. The owner is helpful if you e.g. need help.

Places like this were these pretty diverse interest groups could be satisfied are pretty rare. The magic solution lies within music instruments, which sound will please the ear even if one does not have any musical training. Drums and xylophones could be used by everyone passing by. Location is very safe for kids and attractions for older kids (and teens) are not really accessible for smaller, which would typically focus on slides and sandbox. Definitely worth visiting!
