- Lysander2Bromsgrove, UK3 contributionsVisited Avoncroft during the living history weekend. As well as the buildings to see there were re-enactors of all periods camped out and it made for a lovely afternoon. It’s a relaxed and peaceful location. Our girls loved exploring the medieval house and the windmill, watching the re-enactments and talking to the re-enactors. All in all a gentle, absorbing afternoon out to fire the imagination with a pleasant park and a train ride to boot. Will definitely visit again.Written 10 April 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Andrew HSolihull, UK315 contributionsWe did the locks on our narrow boat. Twice in a week! It's amazing. The scenery is beautiful and there are so many interesting buildings and lovely pubs along the way it is one of our favourite trips. Hard work but worth every second of it.Written 30 October 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- CookiescotHalesowen, UK612 contributionsWe were visiting Bromsgrove and came across this park. Had a lovely walk around, plenty for children to do and the bonus of a lovely cafe and toilet facilities.Written 13 May 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- junecarole11 contributionsHaving noticed the museum when walking past we brought our parents along with us for a visit.
We were warmly greeted by the volunteers on duty and shown round.
I cannot praise this museum highly enough everyone is very friendly and helpful and everything kept in excellent order. The information and items on display far exceed what you would expect from looking at the outside of the building, as they describe it, it is very Tardis like. We enjoyed our visit tremendously.Written 14 March 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC. - Exploration2336976 contributionsVisit Liz's farm and studio whenever I am in the area. The studio contains lots of unusual gifts - many hand made by her.
The tea room serves scrumptious cakes and the farm shop sells the best highland meat you'll find anywhereWritten 7 September 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC. - Anna WBirmingham, UK3 contributionsBeautiful woods and a lovely walk. There is a small car park which gets busy at times but there's also some room for parking on the road next to the entrance. Walk is suitable for small children, but not really for pushchairs.Written 10 July 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- codsallStourbridgeUKStourbridge UK343 contributionsWent here as part of a day meeting. Once one of 41 similar cottages each standing within four acres of land; this was built as part of a scheme by the Chartist Movement to circumvent the law on who could vote, which required people to be land or property owners. Restored back to its original state, this gives an insight into both the Chartist ideas and their lifestyle. The guides are excellent too!Written 10 May 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.

- CockneyBrumWorcestershire, UK2,713 contributionsMy wife bought me a £10 Brewery Tour voucher for a Christmas Present. Little did I know that I was booked on the first ever public tour of the brewery!
I was not disappointed. Head Brewer Mark and Mel on reception were extremely welcoming and knowledgeable. It was fascinating to see the process behind the scenes.
The most illuminating aspect of the day was how manual the manufacturing process is. It's really just Mark with a little bit of help from the other brewer, Tim. I had no idea that most of the beers I'd been buying since the brewery opened in 2010 were bottled by hand!
I'm pretty sure I've tried all of the beers they've ever made here and they're all excellent. 'Burlesque' is my favourite.
The shop is very well stocked with local products. You get a 10% off voucher with your brewery visit and your choice of beer to take home. The tasting samples were generous and there was no rush to get you out of the door. I wish I could have stayed longer!
Just one more thing - PLEASE make a Christmas Beer like the defunct Young Christmas Pudding Ale!!!
I wish them all the best for the future and I hope this business continues to grow. I wish more pubs and supermarkets/off licences stocked their products locally (the Artrix being one).Written 30 January 2016This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC. - Vicky L94 contributionsMy daughter loved this. The theme was snow white this year, I have a 12 year old and 2 year old. 12 year old wasn't really interested, but my daughter was up singing and dancing, the artrix is a small complex so this made the performance more personal, the dancers was fab. I used to take my son and nephews when they were little before moving onto the hippodrome in Birmingham. The actors all wait outside after the performance to meet and greet all the children. We will be booking again for next yearWritten 15 December 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Rachel P1 contributionCan't recommend DM Private Hire enough !!
I booked him to take my elderly parents and sister to Cheltenham races. My Father being unable to do the walking he once did, needed to be dropped off and picked up from the gates as close as possible. Darren said , this he would do. I was still worried , for my Dad's sake really. Well there was absolutely no need !!Darren went above and beyond to provide the service he said he would. He did exactly as asked. The car was spotless, my parents felt safe and comfortable , and Darren was helpful, polite friendly and totally professional.Written 17 November 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC. - jwiWorcester, UK143 contributionsGreat attraction during summer nj this, my wife loved it hear and the boat shack is a hidden gem too.
Can't recommend it enough!Written 1 May 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC. - ronsar18Devon, UK36 contributionsWe spent four days on a narrow boat from bromsgrove to Worcester and back a relaxing travel. The boat was beautifully maintained and the team at Black Prince made the whole experience that much bettter. From the point of meet and greet and a short demonstration, to the point of a call after day 1 to confirm our route and warn us about some severe weather issues which may affect us. We would definitely use the base again and would recommend the base for others.Written 29 October 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.

Nice and clean relaxing place to spend a few hours chatting and sipping herbal teas. We felt so welcome we are planning on meeting again in bromsgrove next month just so we can pop in and say hello.
