This place offers a lot of family activities and I love the nearby market - A must place to visit.
If you are about having a good family time, and needs a kind of family picnic in a good and fresh air, you are on the right place.

Children will find this place amusing, and you can teach them alot about animals here.
This museum is not really big, a bit small, but it's quite good as place for learning especially for the kids and the ticket also cheap

Locals LOVED us, we got series of high fives from a little old lady, children gauked, pointed and eventually burst into choruses of giggles and "hello"s.

... the hall, you can find a bunch of poster which tell you about the history of Kesultanan Deli (the royal family who owned the palace) but I really love the detail of the ceiling and wall : gorgeous with Melayu ...
Plus, taking an interest in their lives, and their kids is always touching to local folks.

First I had mixed feelings about this trip, but then I decided because of the kids and we all enjoyed cooling down in the river with the elephants.
