Great Beach good Views very good Barbque and picnic area and park area Good family spot ,, good beach for children to swim and Play all in all a good place to BE ,, Definitely will go Back
Where the water meets the sand the beach slopes gently downward, so there was an area of gentler surf for the shorter kids, and plenty of waves to catch from child-standing height for the bigger kids.

Love Lake Macquarie, an unspoilt part of Australia, in particular the area around Wangi Wangi, so many unspoilt areas to visit, safe swimming and boating for families, plenty of bushwalks for hikers.
I would definitely recommend this place if you have friends or family visiting from overseas so they can maximize their experience with Australian wildlife.

Now that the prices are reasonable, $9 for adults and $7 for kids, reading cinemas is the best place to go for a film.

The kids corner near the gift shop is always changing and encourages children to explore techniques and themes that they have just seen in the exhibition.
There is a regular change of contemporary exhibits and each are supported by activities for families and students that encourage active participation.
