Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

This amazing site is very low key and the initial impression is that there is very little here but once you negotiate the rough track (badly signed) to the main site, there is a great deal to see. All much enhanced by the lack of tour parties, there is a real atmosphere of the past and you can wander around at will. The interpretive material when you can read it is good although some of it is so faded as to be illegible. It is a pity that there is not more information at the entrance. Definitely worth a detour.

As I said in the title we parked next to this statue so we stopped and looked at it. It’s a WWl statue and I do believe statues from any wars should be looked at so to honor the men and women who were in them.

Italy, like most European countries, participated in both world wars. This monument by the sculptor Andrea Manzella is dedicated to those who died in the first world war. Immediately after the war, they were installed in memory of the dead citizens of the cities where they are installed. This art Deco monument was opened in 1925 in the time of Mussolini, as an education of the Roman spirit to prepare for the future war. The second world war cost Italy already entire armies that died in the Libyan desert and the steppes of the Middle Don in the USSR. As payment for speculating on the memory of those who died in world war I.

The monument was erected to Baron Marco Trigona, a representative of the noble family of Sicily, Dating back to the natives of German Swabia in the VII century. Trigon's estate, however, was in French Picardy. What great thing did Marco Trigona do? The monument to the Baron was erected for the fact that he bequeathed to Finance the restoration of the Cathedral after the earthquake in 1598. The Catholic Church doesn't just put up monuments... It's about money.
