A huge thanks to Gaz for a great night If you are looking for an evening that combines history with great bars, great beer a very knowledgable host, this is it We had the best night ever, would love to do it again...
His knowledge and enthusiasm for the history of the bars and the beers is second to none, its a great shame the tour only lasts a few hours as i'm sure there heaps more history (and beers) to dig into!!

Greg was HILARIOUS and did an amazing job of telling us about each bar/hotel without making it boring.
He got us drinks at each of the bar stops quickly after explaining the heritage of each beer we had access to at each individual bar.

Very knowledgeable tour guide and also a fun route to visit - all the cool bars, history of rebellions, and insights into the life of original settlers.
We took a 3 hour tour of The Rocks in Sydney, that included a great history of the area (and Sydney in general), dinner at a great brewpub, and a drink at another interesting bar.

Silverton Pub Silverton
Own and operated by locals Patsy and Pete who are bursting with personality and powerhouse Cheryl behind the bar to keep you hydrated.
great outback pub feel, good menu and very reasonable prices , good beer selection and outside bar area is very rustic and fun , sit in the sun or shade .laid
Excellent bar food and a good atmosphere.
It is the “Oldest Hotel” in Sydney and the Bar Staff were able to tell us why that is true with a nice story!
The Camelot Lounge Marrickville
The wonderful crazy paintings, mood lighting and dark red walls create the atmosphere of a '30s speak-easy' a club of discerning individuals enjoying a night 'on the town'.
Sydney's hidden gem is the Camelot Lounge, and the adjoining Django Bar.
If anyone wants to meet new people, listen to great music and experience Sydney’s best nightlife then I 100% recommend joining this pub crawl!
The bars are awesome, the games and prizes are a nice touch and the staff are some of the best people I have met, really making the night that little bit more fun.
The selection of whiskies, the style of the bar, the fantastic bartenders and the music all combined to make it a memorable occasion.
Been to many whiskey bars around the world but this brings the Jazz and Blues of New Orleans and just about every whiskey of the world to the one bar.
Coal and Cedar Newcastle
We loved everything about this place from the secret squirrel texting to get in, the secret door and the attention to detail inside the bar, and of course, the cocktails are great too.
Friendly informative bar staff helped too.
The Oaks Hotel Neutral Bay
Attended the Oakes for birthday party Enjoyed a few drinks in the bar area then went to dining area for meal Fantastic food My husband had steak cooked to perfection and I had oven baked barramundi which was delis...
It is an expansive Hotel with numerous bars and dining spaces and you can also enjoy a drink or bite to eat in the beer garden under the famous oak tree.
Marble Bar Sydney
Down under the Sydney Hilton in fact, and this beautiful bar serves excellent cocktails, perfect tapas sized snacks and on several nights of the week great live music.
Been there on Friday night ,it was absolutely mind blowing !! Very friendly bar staff and what an excellent sound system they have ..loved it .. Would go back again and highly recommended .. Cocktails were wow too!!!
Found this awesome little place by referencing "best small bars in surrey hills" webpage .... Great atmosphere, friendly service and good music - even the security were fun.
Lovely and cosy, candlelit bar with nice ambience.
Grandma's Sydney
A low key, friendly bar with fantastic staff, fantastic drinks and an all round amazing vibe.
Perfect service and bar staff were very skilled, a nice place for a few casual drinks.
Young Henrys Newtown
Dropped in on Sunday arvo to start our bar crawl and were very impressed with the layout, plus the $5 drink price was a refreshing change up for Sydney.
Young Henrys were in Melbourne at my Local Football Club and I got to try a few of their beers and I knew I was heading up to Sydney I told them I would visit.
Friendly club, large and modern, fast and easy check in for visitors, well stocked bar and helpful staff
We were pleasantly surprised by the meal more than sufficient food well presented and tasty, thank you Mollymook golf club we will be back.
