In 40+ degree weather with 80%+ humidity and reasonable fitness it took us 90 mins round trip including a significant break at the top to rest and enjoy the spectacular views.
Great view, good steep walk up, easy walk back.
The USS Peary Memorial Darwin
Great for a real appreciation of what Darwin went through during World War 2 and fantastic harbour views to boot!
Peary on February 19, 1942 during the first air raid by Japanese forces on Australia during the Pacific War. Well worth a visit to pay your respects and take in the view.

The mine and surrounds were interesting and reading about the history as well, My wife and I found the View from the top was absolutely spectacular, well worth the short walk up to the top where the mine shaft is
