What travellers are saying
- Jeffry bEssendon, Australia10,736 contributionsAdelaide Central Market is one of Australia's largest and best food markets, selling a huge range of fresh fruit and vegetables, apart from other produce. Recently, one trader has bagan selling fresh-baked Portuguese egg tarts, much-loved in Asia. A project to expand the market is underway, making it even bigger and betterWritten 26 June 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Graeme RMelbourne, Australia10 contributionsEvery ten minutes there is a tram from Glenelg Pier to the city. Very quick and clean transport option to the city. Well patronised with locals and tourists. You'll need a travel card for your fare.Written 26 June 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Max GCamberwell, Australia19 contributionsPort v Suns, great game, great venue just so convenient from North Terrace hotel, looking forward to returning in December for the Cricket.Written 28 June 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Blue MBlue Mountains, Australia108 contributionsEnjoyable walk in gardens. For a small capital city these are pleasant to visit, return to the city walking along the river! Or walk thru the gardens from the tram to the zoo! Well worth it.Written 23 June 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- wtandyLaunceston, Australia766 contributionsBeautiful wander through here with my wife yesterday - starting with a warm welcome from gallery staff upon entry. Spacious, light filled environment which is tolerant of both the respectful conversation of adults, and the exuberant commentary of children. Great mix of new and old, and a good variety of art forms. Pleasant cafe, clean toilets and an interesting gift shop on the way out. A credit to this fine City and State.Written 12 June 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- KazzyTazHobart, Australia47 contributionsGreat day spent wandering around. Well planned exhibits with so many amazing animals. Well worth the visit.Written 24 June 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- LesleynDPerth, Australia532 contributionsWhat an amazing place to spend a few hours. My favourite exhibits were the Australian Polar Collection, Ancient Egypt (very small) and World Mammals. But there are heaps more endless wonders - five floors worth! We managed to see everything in 4 hours. Best of all it is absolutely free!
Check out the taxidermy lion outside, watch it for a while and you will see it move it's tail! We eventually found out how they made the tail move, fascinating!Written 23 May 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC. - Norm the NomadAustralia806 contributionsFinally a wander through the Rundle Mall area to finish off the day. A good variety of shopping outlets for all. Very popular with the locals and tourists. Buskers were entertaining.Written 11 May 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- chforeveryoungTraralgon, Australia28 contributionsFound by chance, peaceful and beautiful oasis, beautifully maintained. Small but perfect. There was one part being renewed but did not detract from the tranquillity of this small garden.Written 30 May 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.

- Jeffry bEssendon, Australia10,736 contributionsThe Adelaide Metro City Connector Bus and Tram will take you all over Adelaide. The outer circle goes clockwise and outer clockwise; the inner circle will take you around the inner city; it's a free hop on, hop off service. The service is wheel-chair and pram friendly and is completely free.Written 22 June 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
