Booked a couple of days before, for the free guided tour. Well worth it for nearly two hours walking through the gardens with a knowledgeable guide. Saw and learned things we would not have done on our own.
I felt sad for the guide, because three of the four couples who had booked didn’t turn up, so she had to put all her attention n us. But great for my wife and myself, because we had a tour all for us.
Nice beer and wine at the lakeside restaurant as well to cap off a very pleasant day.
Thank you to Bud, our guide.

Amazing tram driver. It’s free!!! We were travelling in Melbourne on our mini vacation. It’s an incredible experience and free tram with young children is cherry on top

A fantastic experience! We visited the MCG and toured the ground with our excellent guide Graeme. Graeme was helpful, knowledgable and enthusiastic about the MCG and found we learnt a lot about the grounds history. The ticket was reasonably priced with entry to the sports museum included which was great for young children. We fully enjoyed our time at the MCG

We have not been to the Shrine of Remembrance for many years so while in Melbourne we decided to take a look at the downstairs improvements.
The Shrine is in the Royal Botanical Gardens it's a wonderful & respectful memorial to our Fallen Anzac. The three levels house the galleries, crypt, sanctuary & the balcony, gallery displays artifacts from all wars plus peace keepers & peace makes operation. The crypt shows WW 1 conflict plus the father & son statue but for me the Sanctuary is what the shrine is all about. The balcony overlooks Melbourne but there are many stairs to climb to see the view. The staff were friendly and very helpful explaining to us about the memorial. I believe this is a must do while In Melbourne.
    Highly recommend

Must-see market that covers acres of north Melbourne with busy, vibrant fish, meat, produce and general stores. Have fresh shucked oysters, admire the spring onions or simply saunter about

Visited the Triennial show at the NGV, and was amused by some of Yoko Ono’s installations as part of a 100+ artist show where the quality varied from humdrum to exalted. Free to enter

We were given a "Cocktail in the clouds" package which also included the voyager theatre experience.
Sitting in our plush red "egg shell" pod chairs we settled in for out 15 minute journey through 16 iconic Melbourne locations.
Awesome experience and we were advised to do this event first before enjoying our cocktails which was taken onboard & thank goodness.
We enjoyed our cocktails at Bar 88 whilst admiring the scenery of Melbourne city and beyond.
The time you spend at the highest observation deck in the southern hemisphere is initially dependent on your own itinerary. The weather gods were on our side so we were in no hurry to leave. ( also it was not crowded)
We enjoyed the 360 degree views of our city and would recommend this experience.

Fantastic olde world feel, a great mix of boutique business here.
You certainly WON'T FIND Kmart or Target here!
This is a great spot for a special afternoon tea/coffee or that special occasion piece of bling
    Loved it
