It's an amazing park, and it provides some great views of Perth and the Swan River - plus some perfect photo opportunities!

This venue is excellent if you are planning on having wedding photos taken or keen to show international visitors the sites of Perth.
For many years, Winthrop Hall has been the last sight many students have of university life, as this is the site of many University of Western Australia (UWA) graduation ceremonies.

An excellent terrace for shops and restaurants etc. Perth centre is relatively small so there is ample time to walk around and see the sights especially down by the Swan River
It was on the site of the first men's Club in Perth.

The university also fronts onto the Swan River/Matilda Bay - you can walk along its sandy shore and enjoy wonderful views of the city skyline across the sparkling water.
We also enjoyed a great view of Swan River during the 10-minute bus ride from the Esplanade Busport to the university.

Loved by walkers and those just after the views of some of Australia's best beaches.
Especially a good drive during dusk to view the various sunsets along the beaches that stretch along this drive.

It's a great view heading west on St George's Terrace to see Barracks Arch at the top of the hill, and it's a great piece of Perth history.
The arch was also going to be demolished probably for political reasons as it obstructed the views from parliament on the hill behind.
