There's something truly magical about engaging with nature, even more than staring at a David Attenborough documentary... we were lucky enough to see four turtles during our visit (or 'events', as they are called)...
Took my family and visiting family from Victoria and had a great experience with mother nature and the fantastic Rangers looking after the place.

It’s a very family friendly area with lots for kids to do in the park and the zoo combined, good play areas and lots of space for barbeques and picnics.
It is great for all ages, and there's a great park and playground right next to it for some fun or a picnic.

Great place for a party, meet up with friends, and a perfect place for kids to play and explore the setting by the lake and the lovely walks throughout the parks.
We were at the Baldwin Swamp Environment Park a few weeks ago, there were so many birds there and frogs it was impressive!

Alexandra Park is a great place to go with the family for a picnic, or just to get outdoors.
Alexander Park has the Bundaberg Zoo, BBQ's and is a great place for kids and families.

You definitely need a 4WD to access the park and if going on the beach lower your tyre pressures.
We were at the Burrum Coast National Park a few weeks ago and were happy that we had our 4x4 to get us through the area as it was pretty soggy and boggy.
