Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Today we were off to check out the “12 Apostles” proper. We went early, so as to avoid the tourist crowds that turn up later in the day - and we had the place largely to ourselves, which was great. (In the afternoons in can get quite crowded).

The various ‘12 Apostle’ related sites are essentially spread out over about 20 km - so a leisurely approach is to do them over 2 days; which is what we are doing. The next stop was London Bridge.

10/10 was greeted by the young man he was prompt in asking as soon as we walked in if we wanted to buy some cheese 🧀 today
    Great family business
    The cheese selection was sensational
We heard later their brie has won some big awards
We bought a big selection of the range.

Highly recommend a tasting for $1.

One of several very cool rock formations you'll see in the area and really, while in and of itself it's quite interesting the area, when taken as a whole, is pretty much a must do.

There is lots of parking - which still conspires to be fairly full at times - and a number of well fenced lookouts so you can see the coastal formations from a variety of angles. Certainly an area that will have the younger crowd distracted from their i-pads for, well, several moments at the very least. And the well made paths mean that less mobile people can see a lot of the area as well.

I cannot begin to say how much I appreciated the help from the Port Campbell Information Centre. Our family started planning our trip along the Great Ocean Road and only had 2 days in the area. I contacted them to get help, to see what were the best spots to see and do in the area. They sent me emails on the attractions in the area, told me the best spots to see and even a trail at one of the locations that not many people know about. We were able to go to the places that we planned out and I also called into the Information Centre to say hello and see if there was anything else that we needed to know. They were very helpful. Hopefully we get to go back into the area again. There's so much to see and do around the Port Campbell area. Please support the Information Centres wherever you are in your journeys. You will find out so much about the areas. Get all the inside information for the area!!

A very pretty inlet, foreshore area and pier.

If you are doing the Great Ocean Road this little town is well worth a stop to stretch your legs. There are some little shops, a useful little tourist info centre and this pretty foreshore area.

It's worth it to walk down to the pier and back and then along the verdant grass above the beach itself. A great place to sit and ponder existence.

What a fabulous find in Port Campbell - Wine@Tilly's Wine Bar. Delicious lighter style wines and scrumptious charcuterie platters, featuring other local produce and cheeses, with gluten free options. We loved meeting co-owner Susie, learning about Newtons Ridge Estate wines, Port Campbell, and photo hotspots. All their handcrafted wines were wonderful and our standout favourite was their Chardonnay. We highly recommend Wine@Tilley's. So much so, we went back for a second, long lunch.

You can no longer see this from land as they have closed the road. I don’t know if this is temporary but we did see it - by 12 Apostles Helicopters and it was unique and interesting. So jump on a flight to see the wonderful features of the coast

You have to see The Razorback and this is on your way. A very short walk from the car park. Pram accessible trail. Might spend about 5 to 10 mins here.
