- Kath D79 contributionsThe photo opportunities are loads though the place where you have to stand are so close together so you can impeach on others. Lockers provided with tokens in so no need to pay for them don't take bags with you as you be constantly putting them out way to do photos. Put your coat in locker too because it so hot in there. Felt bit like conveyor belt as everyone was trying to do the illusions and photos at same time. Keep your ticket if you need toilet it on lower floor, they weren't very nice though, you scan ticket so don't have to pay. We ate and ate and ate but also learned so much about Prague and communism and how Prague has risen from the communist rule. Our tour guide was fantastic and took us to so many places. - zberg84 contributionsThe crawl was a lot of fun. A few things of note:
- The 8pm crawl gets 2 hours of free drinks as opposed to just 1 hour for the 10pm crawl (even though they're the same price). The two crawls eventually meet up before heading to the final destination/club.
- Unlike most other crawls I've been on, the guides are not allowed to drink anything. So be prepared to make friends and entertain yourselves, because they'll largely fade into the background.
- The two bars are located on the same block as the tour company and were completely empty outside of our group. So don't expect to see a lot of the city or meet any locals.
For $35 we didn't expect much, so had a really good time regardless. I can't give it 5 stars though for a couple of reasons:
1. We really only spent about 45 minutes at the first bar instead of the hour promised. It's not a huge deal, but considering that is only place to down free drinks, it was a bit of a bummer.
2. Our initial tour guide left without telling us. The 8pm tour guide took over, which was initially okay. But then I think he realized he was late getting us to the club.
At which point his demeaner completely changed and he started getting a bit aggressive with everyone trying to hustle us out of the bar and during our walk to the club. All the necessary information about the sights is presented in a nice and interesting way. Lance obviously knows a lot and invested a lot in his knowledge, and above all - it was above all interesting and fun.
