Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Great area for dining, walking down the river Motlawa, having a short cruise trip and enjoying the street art. Buy you some amber and support local musicians.

Interesting and well laid out museum with audio tour and plenty of things to interact with. Liked the building too. Some good exhibits including the pope mobile.

Really enjoyed our visit (more than we expected). Museum is modern and has been done very well. There is lots of information and it’s presented in an interesting way. We thought we’d take a quick look as we had free entry with the Gdansk tourist card but ended up spending about 3 hours in there! Very interesting and we learnt a lot about WWII.

One of the most beautiful old town streets I’ve ever visited. Also really friendly and nice staff on the restaurants and terraces. Really lovely atmosphere

Another beautiful street to visit while in Gdansk which offers so many photo opportunities early in morning while you beat the crowds. Starting from Motlawa river side passing through the Mariacka Gate heading towards St. Mary's Basilica. The cobbled stone street the architecture of the buildings, detail iron work on railings to each entrance, stone terraces, ornate gargoyle rain gutters, streetlamps, colourful flower plants in pots, terrace line street just so much to like and photograph on this beautiful street. Well known for its Amber shops there also restaurants, bars, cafes.

Must see when in Gdaňsk. Great architecture, the biggest brick church building in Europe. Free entrance.
Tower view available (ticket 18 PLZ/adult).

Lovely garden/park in a busy city. Lots of water features - ponds, fountains, waterfalls. Many nicely shaped flower beds, one corner is a Japanese style garden too. Palmarium Is a small greenhouse, there Is also a nice Caffé. In the park you can spot many birds, ducks, squirrels... And the entrance Is free.

Very unique church/cathedral. Amazing huge organs, statues of angels move And play! On Saturdays organ concerts (20 min, between 10-11 a.m., can't remember the time), voluntary fee for church. Breathtaking.

Commemorative place. Please behave with respect. Lots of panels with detailed info about the first days of WW II.
The site Is partly under construction for better access. Walkable, the main monument Is uphill, not wheelchair/ pram friendly. Wonderful Roses around.
I think it's really important to remember history, even the bad parts, just to make sure, evil never wins again.
Good view to the port as well. No access to the sea. Some stalls with souvenirs and coffee.
Parking available, some without tickets, bigger part Is paid parking.

Great walk along the riverside, however currently one part Is under construction. Once it Is ready, there Is a splendid technically unique bridge - every half an hour it Is connecting the banks for pedestrians to cross, the other half an hour it Is hidden in the middle od the river si the boats can go. Anyway - excellently rebuilt from ruins, in an old&modern way. Lovely Vibe, just Grab your coffee or a cup of hot chocolate & enjoy. Or, if you are more adventurous, you can try kayak or other water vehicle for rent, to take a ride in the river

Pretty cool statue. Well kept. Very crowded but able to take a good photo. This is the main centrepiece in the Old Town so there will be lots of people.
