Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

It is a very impressive historical site. The admission is 36 PLZ. Admission is free on Tuesdays. There is a lot of information and exhibitions. The visit can take a few hours. The venue is well organised and well managed. The information on the screens is duplicated in several languages. I would gladly visit again in future.

We had so much fun there! There are plenty of machines and we spent 3 hours there (and didn’t want to go). It’s an arcade museum that has the games from the 90s and 00s, including Mario Kart, Daytona, House of Dead. Lots of pinball machines as well. Afternoon well spent there.

We visited here on our last day to pass some time. Little did we know how good it was or how big it actually was.

Fantastic insight into the history of the square you were standing or sitting in 10 mins before you entered the museum.

Fascinating glimpse into how the square started, developed, and has now become.

My only criticism is the lighting when trying to read any info, not is very dim and can be difficult, but that aside, we loved it.

We enjoyed the illusions and history side of the house of attraction. Good explaining of the history of Krakow. The glass maze was amazing!

Well curated museum explaining the everyday life (centuries ago), the folklore, arts&crafts of Poland.

Quiet, clean, well explained, interesting reproductions of past everyday life to discover on the Ground Floor.

Recommend to explore&enjoy GF and 1. Floor (2nd Floor was more kind of bric-à-brac, to be missed).

Located in the Kazimierz part of Krakow, this synagogue offers a lot of explanations concerning the Jewish religion, culture, history etc.

What we didn't like was the fact that strictly NO security measures were taken at all, no bag check etc, nothing!? Normally right now (Sept.2024) this might lead to serious problems 😱

Good and interesting museum with a bunker below….also free entrance to another museum 15 mins walk away but I got to what appeared to be the building but didn’t enter as saw no mention of a museum there
The lady on the ticket desk was helpful and pleasant

Spent an hour or so looking around here, a great place to visit if medieval art is your thing, we almost had the whole place to ourselves which was nice but a shame more people don't check it out.

The museum was very interesting, we particularly enjoyed the Peruvian exhibit and the scale models of different civilisations per time period.

Unfortunately some of the exhibits were closed including the garden, however we still had a lovely visit.

The staff were very friendly and guided us around the exhibits.

Overall, we would recommend (particularly for the good price!) But maybe check which exhibits are open ahead of time.

Not much interesting to see except the artists illustrated works (which were interesting to me but not my husband) - the house is very simple and the interior decor and has very little of real interior interest-
We note several reviews saying the people who work the are rude- please know they are not rude- they are very polite and nice- they (Poles) don’t smile like Americans and most don’t have really good English skills- so ask yourself, you are in Poland- how are your Polish language skills? Also they are not “following you” because they think you’re going to steal something, it is their job to protect the work and, unbelievably, a lot of tourists have no problem touching anything not behind a rope!

The former palace now houses different exhibitions. We had a very interesting Krakow 1900 exhibition with a lot of atrifacts, painting, statues. It was really amazing.

We were lucky enough to visit for free as it was a Wednesday, don't know if it would be worth paying for at full price though.
We were surprised by how well preserved everything was.
The rooms were all well looked after and there was information on each one in English as well as other languages, it is a good insight as to how well off and influential families lived.
We really enjoyed our short visit here.

This is a very educational place but also heartbreaking. Only downfall is they need the clips and audio in English. There is over 2 hours worth or reading here. And most of the English is small print which would be a lot better if bigger. Do not get a tour here as they are ridiculous over priced. Do not get a taxi from out side as they are over double. I would recommend a uber or calling a service.

I rather enjoyed this small gallery, which had a fair entrance fee, and a small but valuable collection of European art, which included a Rembrandt, to Brueghel's, as well as a Canova bust, amongst other great pieces.
