We were greeted at the launch site with hot tea and were advised to use their restroom (none on the boat). The greeter was a wonderful joyful man who had us laughing at the get go. Before we launched he brought everyone a blanket. The boat ride was smooth and you get a QR to access an audio explanation on the tour. For example, instead of a closet, my room had a beautiful wood armoire with a mirror. The evening concert with wine was a pleasant surprise. Highly recommend if you want to learn Jewish history within Warsaw. - Serban CBucharest, Romania42 contributionsThis was the second tour I had with WPTI1313 during my NY stay in Warsaw. Definitely an emotional tour choice for me, since Cucumber bus was the preferred bus of my childhood in the 70s Romania nd nowadays I am a car passionate. But the real experience of this tour far exceeded my expectations I had- a nice nostalgia ride on a classic bus. The itinerary covers a wide area of the city, Praha, which we explored with very well chosen stops to get amazing shots of the best mural or abandoned buildings of this part of the city. Konrad, whom we had the luck to have for the second time as a tour guide, was literally brilliant and provided us with impressive stories of the hidden gems of Warsaw. The tour was amazing.
Maciej was our driver, he was waiting for us outside of our accommodation with a sign.
He was very polite, cheerful and thoughtful.
Once we arrived in Auschwitz our guide was waiting for us. We joined the group and started the tour.
Afterwards, our guide took us to Birkenau, where we ended the tour and drove back to Warsaw.
