Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

I never expected that Warsaw was going to impress me as much as it did. When I arrived to the Old Town, I felt like I was being transported to another lifetime, it was breathtaking. It had such a romantic atmosphere.

At Rynek Starego Miasta I had my first imprinting with Polish food and it was amazing. And I’d like to deliver a special thank to Christopher for the excellent service!🍷🍷

The central indoor market in unimpressive. A small supermarket, some clothes stores, a couple of antique shops, hairdressers, hair salon and assorted services. A couple of good baked goods shops, though.
The real market is in the surrounding passages and outside - a ton of fresh food stalls some of which have locals queuing up to buy (20 varieties of eggs... 15 varieties of tomatoes... amazing to see) plus other stuff (pet supplies, cleaning supplies, sewing stuff, clothes, flowers etc)

Go with a guide (many tours of the Jewish ghetto can be had) to fully understand the history of this street where a wall used to stand, not just nice restaurants and buildings refurbished...... Now only several plaques remind us of that tragic past.

This street connects the Stary Rynek and the Castel Square. Full of souvenir shops, restaurants and there are two churches too.

When you can manage then take a walk when the Teatr Wielki illuminated. It is wonderful. Unfortunately the square is use as a parking lot, so it is difficult to make pictures. íthe other buildings are very nice as well.

You can just stroll around and enjoy the quiet surroundings, but you can also visit the museum inside and some old prison cells.

Freta street is a street in the New Town in Warsaw . It runs from Nowomiejska street (at the junction with Mostowa and Długa streets , about 3 minutes walk from the Barbican) to the intersection of: Zakroczymska , Franciszkańska and Kościelna streets . It is a pedestrian street that can take you back into history , or may let you enjoy strolling calmly , visit churches , small shops and galleries , or have a bite in one of the tempting restaurants/cafes spread along the cobbled stone street . (google up for detailed history ) .
This street , and the New Town area is not as touristic and crowded as the neighboring Old Town area , but still , it may offer you a lot of attractions , during your peaceful stroll there .
    Highly recommended

The Memorial Route of Jewish Martyrdom and Struggle in Warsaw is built to commemorate people, events and places of the Warsaw Ghetto during the German occupation of Poland . It starts near the Polin museum , at the corner of Anielewicza str. and Zamenhofa str. , along Zamenhofa , on to Dubois and Stawki , ending near the Umschlagplatz Monument . The memorial route contains along it ,17 stone tomb like blocks , inscribed with names (including the Mila 18 Anielewicza Bunker monument .
Important to see , reflect and remember .

Located along the Vistula river , north of the Old Town the whole New Town area is an important part of Warsaw , and worth a calm stroll along its streets . Not as crowded and touristic as the Old Town , but this neighborhood has its own beauty . It offers a variety of attractions : The New Town Square ; The multimedia fountain park ; Churches; statues and monuments ; historic buildings , small shops , restaurants and cafes . And above all - a peaceful atmosphere and endless photo ops .

One of the key bridges in Warsaw crossing the Vistula River. The bridge is close to Old Town and can be seen well from the Viewing Terrace at St. Anne's Church.
