Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

What travellers are saying
- CJOradea, Romania1 contributionInteractive, modern, very well planned, many benches to sit and reflect on what you see, it does a good job in explaining the long, rich and complicated history of the Jewish community in Warsaw and Poland in general.Written 26 September 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - laura tPhiladelphia, PA22 contributionsAbsolute must for families with children and adults who are interested in learning/science! We spent almost 4 hours at the museum and practically had to drag our 10 year old son out. The museum is interactive, with everything translated into English so we could fully enjoy. We even had an amazing teacher/worker who spent over 10 minutes with our son, teaching him about electromagnets. Amazing and totally worth the visit. The inside cafeteria had great sandwiches and deserts for reasonable prices.Written 1 September 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - NatMexico City, Mexico1,116 contributionsThe ticket office is apart from the entrance which is a bit confusing. You have to go to one side (almost the back) of the building to get them and then walk all the other way to the door. We saw some asian tourists leaving in disbelief because they couldn’t find the place to buy the tickets. The staff kindly explained to them where to go and we tried to help too, but I think the language barrier made it complicated. So I’d suggest relocating the ticket office to the same building or adding more signs.
Anyway, the exhibit is beautiful, very majestic. There was also a painting collection of great historical value, as they were the painting that were later used to reconstruct the Old Town after it was destroyed in WW2.
There is a FREE audioguide, that can be programmed in different languages and is very helpful to understand more about the royals and the place they lived in.
The shop is great too! They have fancy souvenirs.Written 25 September 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. You can also order drinks here. All of the games are fully playable. A fun activity night.Written 14 September 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Robert THuddersfield, UK38 contributionsReally funny to do On a night time as open until 9, but didn’t take very long to get around so thought that 40pln each was a bit much considering it was only 2 roomsWritten 8 October 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Alex K3 contributionsWe had a a great time learning about the history of Polish vodka (not vodka from Poland). Our host Kacper was an amazing host, very informative & answered all & any questions. The vodka tasting was also really nice at the end. Would highly recommend :)Written 1 October 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Nicholas SillitoeKristiansand, Norway73 contributionsBrilliant museum in the heart of "communist" Warsaw. Painful, informative, yet somewhat uplifting. Perfect place for foreigners to learn, and be reminded of what life was like in this amazing city, and feel the undefeated spirit of polish people under Soviet era. Well worth visiting. Great to sit in the little cinema and watch old propaganda films with elderly poles, now being able to laugh at how it once was. Young people would not believe it! Will def. return. Hopefully the shops can expand with more PRL merchandise.Written 4 September 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Đorđe PalićPancevo, Serbia9 contributionsNice place for revisiting the history of gaming. The people were nice, offered tour over the museum, wanted to help if I had some problems or if want to change the game. I spent more time that I was planned. Totally surprise in the underground walkway. And they have the virtual reality section on the other side of walkway, but I didn't visit it.Written 23 August 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Veronique C61 contributionsA nice museum but was expecting something more grandiose for such a renowned artist. We had the chance to listen to a 30 minute concert. Not to be missed if you are a fan of piano.Written 28 July 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Felicia DMurfreesboro, TN2,186 contributionsI never knew so much about neon! I found the most interesting parts to be how neon signs played such a role in life in Warsaw before communism and after. Not being able to read Polish, The signs themselves did not mean much to me. But don’t worry, the description is in English.Written 29 September 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - GizbabBethesda, MD251 contributionsThis is a little known museum that goes quite extensively into the development of banking, history of Polish (and other) numismatics, engraving of print and coin monies as well as the markets. You’d never tell this from walking next to the building. Worth a visit since some of the rarities there are absolutely stunning.Written 13 April 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - hglocationsMelbourne, Australia1 contributionAfter visiting Poland for almost 30 years, I'm still discovering what hidden gems Poland has to offer. The Muzeum Wodki is at the forefront of revealing just how a nation has influenced the world with its talents, especially in Wodka. The tour was very educational & interactive, taking you back a thousand years with the history of Wodka to the present. Ending with a pleasant tasting session which you can continue on in the relaxing roof top Cocktail Bar. A definite must see location.

But it is more than a museum. Both the museum and it's grounds comprise a beautiful and moving memorial to the victims of that slaughter perpetrated by Stalin, who made a devil's bargain with Hitler to divide and subjugate Poland during the second world War. A must for any visitor to Warsaw with an interest in history. Tickets are free. Almost all signage in Polish only. English speakers get the audio guide or use your phone and ear buds.Written 11 June 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Piotr K31 contributionsDefinitely a place to see for those interested in World War II history. A sad and depressing place but it surely makes people understand what did it look like when Germans conquered Warsaw and why Warsaw Uprising has truly happened.Written 27 October 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
