POLIN museum makes a statement from its beautiful exterior glass tiles containing inscriptions written Hebrew. Which also faces towards the Monument to the Ghetto Heroes in Warsaw. The museum is dedicated to its Polish Jewish history, l did use the
audio guide which was included in the ticket price to explore the multi-level museum. Which highlights the history and different stages, Polish Jewish people went through in Poland.

Within walking distance from Old Town and well worth the effort to see the realistic style of the monument dedicated to Warsaw Uprising which took place in 1944. Even more impressive when up close as you realize its size and detail that went into making this beautiful tribute.

Beautiful Monument to the heroes who died during the Ghetto Uprising in 1943 which in front of POLIN Museum main entrance formerly a part of Warsaw Ghetto at the spot where the first armed clash of the uprising took place. There are two sides of the monument which definitely makes a statement of the tragedies what took place here.

Definitely a place to see for those interested in World War II history. A sad and depressing place but it surely makes people understand what did it look like when Germans conquered Warsaw and why Warsaw Uprising has truly happened.

This is a monument to mark where 300,000 people were herded along this path to be taken to concentration camps. It's a very sobering thought of how these people must have suffered at the hands of other humans.

The area around the palace is quite walkable and there are lots of hidden details. The highlight of visiting the palace is the silly winged horse sculptures in front of such a grand building.

Keep an eye on the ground and for small monuments nearby as the area is full of significant history markers.

We got to celebrate Mass here at the Capuchin Friars Church. It is a lovely little church. The art work here is quite nice and they have some wonderful side chapels.

The building of the museum is the old arsenal, built on order of king Władysław IV Waza in 17th century. It was a place of one of the actions starting the November Uprising in 1830, as well as the place of a partisant action during ww2. Apart from it, the building is rather dull.

While you visit the Monument of Warsaw Ghetto Uprising or POLIN museum stop by also here. In 1970 German chancellor Willy Brandt came to Warsaw and he also visited Monument of Warsaw Ghetto Uprising. During this visit he surprisingly knelt. This was seen during the Cold War as an apology and respect for millions of murdered people during the WW II. This event has been very meaningful for Polish according our guide. So meaningful that 30 years later this monument and its bronze plaque was reviled. This monument is as humble as was Brandt's act. You can visit it anytime and of course it is free.

My daughter and I thoroughly enjoyed the experience from start to finish. Maria made us feel very welcome and engaged well with everyone who attended. After making our Pierogi we cooked, sat down and ate it together, washed down with some home made liquors. Overall, a very enjoyable way to spend a few hours 😋 Highly recommended, give it a try you won’t regret it
