I never expected that Warsaw was going to impress me as much as it did. When I arrived to the Old Town, I felt like I was being transported to another lifetime, it was breathtaking. It had such a romantic atmosphere.

We loved visiting this beautiful park, which stretches for miles, and has a variety of attractions to see (the map at the entrance to the park is very helpful).

There are also a couple of small coffee/food stops. We enjoyed a friendly welcome, yummy food and delicious cakes at Sirenka.

At Rynek Starego Miasta I had my first imprinting with Polish food and it was amazing. And I’d like to deliver a special thank to Christopher for the excellent service!🍷🍷

Beautiful walking area in Warsaw. The more so as in weekends is fully pedestrian. Impressive architectural buildings, many monuments, cathedrals, restaurants and souvenir shops. It is a must see.

The monument is not spectacular but inspirational. A tribute to the local heroes. It worth a stop by and couple a minute of meditation.

I may not be objective because I just love roof gardens. This one is also great, especially in crowded Warsaw. Very well cared for. In addition, the library itself inside is great.

You can pass by this monument, as part of a beautiful walk through the gardens. There is a claim that this monument is the best-known Polish sculpture in the world.

The bronze monument depicts the composer sitting under a weeping willow. Above Chopin’s head they take the form of a hand palm. The whole composition reminds of a monumental harp.

In 1940, the monument was destroyed by the Nazis. It was broken into pieces and sent to foundries to be melted down. The reconstructed monument was unveiled in 1958.

I was on a Globus tour as a solo traveler. Poland was wonderful. We started out in Warsaw and wound up in Krakow, with several stops in between, including Auschwitz Birkenau.
I would definitely recommend the trip to friends. Everything was reasonably priced and I enjoyed the food.

Tomb of the unknown solider. This is a site dedicated to the unknown soldiers who have given their lives for Poland. It is one of many such national tombs of unknowns that were erected after World War I, and the most important such monument in Poland.

One can see several poignant engravings at the site as well as a small eternal flame including the changing of the guard every hour. It is quite modest in size, and not as grandiose as other tombs in other countries. When I visited on the Saturday morning around 9am there was also a small military parade with marching band in tow which was free to observe by members of the public at the site.

It is easy to get too and is situated nicely at one end of the large Saxon Garden - itself worthy of visiting.

Great place with industrial ambience. A lot of food choices, the variety is great! Only thing is the drinks are overpriced, a beer was way higher than city-average.

Up market shopping mail based on disused power station. Usual overpriced shops, interesting variety of food outlets, fascinating sculptures, great interior design well worth a visit.

We have a family there so visit often but it is a museum. Full of sculpture and important Polish personalities. Visiting when it is full of candles on All Souls’ Day is magical. If you like cemeteries, and I do, well worth a visit.

This garden was a wonderful surprise! Actually, everything in Warsaw was a pleasant surprise. The garden in vast and has a diverse set of features. On Sunday afternoons there are free, outdoor concerts. Our guide gave detailed explanations of the buildings, fountains etc. I recommend taking a tour.
