It was expensive and had to pay full amount on first trip which at first we were very worried about. We knew that the morning pickup would be ok but concerned we might not find our driver at the end of each day.
We had no reason at all to be worried , our experience was fantastic and our driver Ati was amazing.
Every morning Ati messaged us with his actual arrival time. As he was a local he knew all the “back roads” to avoid the other traffic driving to the circuit. He always dropped us as near to the circuit as possible.
For our evening pickup he would drop us a pin of his location and we would walk to find him. Every evening he was in a very similar location , so again not difficult.
If looking at booking transportation to the Hungaroring for the F1 weekend I would definitely look at using this company.
We heard stories of people waiting hours for a taxi back to the city. Whereas, we left the circuit , walked 15 mins , got in a lovely air conditioned people carrier, drove for 30-45 mins back yo our hotel.
2 of the days it was just us in the vehicle but after the GP we did share with 5 other people.
I would definitely recommend using this company for transfers to and from the Hungaroring for the F1 GP.

Journey is around 20-30mins
Payment is in Hungarian currency, which is typically listed on the form you have.
Typically use Bolt whilst in the city

It was a hot morning, and we seemed to be packed in like sardines. £32 for the 2 of us in a van full of people, yet I was only £27 for a taxi for 2 on our arrival. We used FoTaxi taxis a number of times during our recent vacation in Budapest, including from the airport to our hotel.

Buy the ticket inside the terminals at their ticket counter. The shuttle are all white and clearly marked MiniBUD. This is a door to door service. Whether you re going to a hotel or apartment, they'll take you to your exact request. No extra charge for luggage.
Price to the city centre area is about 13 USD / 4500 HUF per person. Taxi price averages about 25 USD / 9000 HUF. More than one person a taxi is better. There is a taxi stand outside arrivals. You can also take the local bus to Budapest city centre. It takes about one hour with a transfer. The buses stop outside arrivals terminal. Ticket machines outside arrivals terminal.
There is no ride share services in Hungary - they re not permitted by government. However, a local taxi company called FoTaxi is excellent. They have an app exactly like Uber, and they are honestly prices and always available. I've used the app for 2 years. We had a numbered band stored around our luggage and it was charged 1 euro per hour. Please be aware there are no lockable lockers here but there is a manned desk and there were cameras in the room. So obviously used again on return back to airport....

Organised online and it was very easy to do so and reasonably priced for the four of us. The driver was waiting at arrivals with a sign board and helped up with our luggage.
