Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

The day trip of Tallin from Helsinki was excellent. The tour organisation was first class from receiving the ferry tickets a couple of days before, meeting the guide at the terminal in Tallin, to the pickup in the old town and return to the Ferry

Anastasia met us at the ferry terminal in Tallin and gave us a driving tour of Tallin and a walking tour of the Old City. The tour was eductional, informative and very enjoyable, highlighting the best of Tallin. Anastasia also provided some excellent tips on cafes and restaurants to visit in the free time you have at the end of the walking tour.

We also enjoyed the small group aspect of the tour. Other than my wife and I our tour group only included one other person.

A thoroughly enjoyable day in Tallin. Highly recommended.

We stopped at four locations to try traditional liquor, mushroom soup (our favorite - we came back to Munga Kelder the next day for more), brown bread, honey and jams, and a tasting menu at Farm (pate, smoked fish, caviar, beef tartar) and kama for dessert. My husband and I were the only people on this food tour, which made the experience intimate and a lot more personalized. Svetlana was a fantastic guide and gave us a map of her recommended museums, hot chocolate cafe, and restaurants. Highly recommend for one of your first days in Tallinn to get a history of the city and for exploring new places to visit (and restaurants to return to). Great value for the cost of the tour!

We visited Tallinn on a day trip while visiting Helsinki (it is about a 2 hour ferry ride). Tallinn has a wonderfully preserved medieval old town, amongst the best in Europe. We spend the entire day exploring the old town on a self-guided tour (having planned out the route ahead of time). Tallinn is a beautiful city, well worth while visiting. It is not large, so you can cover the old city easily in a day, but a couple of days would be needed if you want to explore some of the sites and enjoy some good restaurants.

We thoroughly enjoyed our day trip to Laheema National Park, which was greatly enhanced by our fantastic guide Christo. His knowledge, stories and sense of humour made the whole day so much fun. Being a local man who knew so much about the nature of the area and gave us fascinating facts everywhere we went was so interesting. The Jagala waterfalls were spectacular, part frozen and the Sagadi Manor House was fascinating, making me feel as if I was in War & Peace, and all just the right length of time at each stop. The Viru Bog walk was also great and we enjoyed seeing something a bit different. The beach at Altja was amazing, all covered in snow and we did enjoy seeing the coastal area. The lunch stop was also a highlight - delicious food and the hearty soups certainly warmed us up on a cold day. We felt very welcome in the local restaurant.
All in all I would not only highly recommend this fabulous tour, a great day out and well worth the price, but if you have the opportunity you should ask for Christo as he just made it the perfect day for us. Thank you Christo - we so enjoyed your company.

Roman was a great guide; so knowledgeable on the architecture and life through the ages in Tallin. It was a fun and friendly tour exploring the top sites in the city. Given it was a very cold -17’C / 1’F, Roman also adapted the tour with some fascinating inside stops along the way so we could warm up without distracting from the tour. Would recommend for groups and solo travellers.

Great guide kept the tour running smoothly. Unusual one way tour but a great way to get between Tallinn and Riga and see places tourists do not usually see across two countries. Highlights included Estonian castle at Viljandi - Latvian castle at Cesis - Estonian national type of standing swing at Viljandi - a hike along a river in the Latvian national park - a military museum in Valga - the national bobsleigh track at Sigulda. The guide Sten told us about the history of the two countries from the muddle ages as the tour progressed. Very informative way to travel berween Riga and Tallinn

Our tour was with Saku Travel Tallinn Private Tours. It could not have been better. They met us at the ferry, drove us in a luxury van to the tour starting point. The woman who led us was friendly, took plenty of time, pointed out all the significant locations, and really knew the area.
We would without hesitation recommend Saku Travel to anyone visiting Tallinn.
