We were able to visit Picton sound, kayak across it (Marlborough Sounds Adventure Co) as well as hike along Victoria domain (public park trails) to Bob's Bay to 'hunt' for shells.
Along the Picton Harbour foreshore you'll find a nice grassy park, children's playground equipment and a choice of over 20 cafes, restaurants and bars.
