Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

This store had the most beautiful rugs in town. The vendor was courteous and quickly zoomed in on the alley rug we were looking for. Hang on tight, this was quite an experience, with rugs flying all over the place. Advice: find your way there alone (without a guide) and make magic happen.

Searched up and down for a pair of shoes that felt extra special and came across this shop in the Medina. We ended up buying 3 pairs they were so nice. Highly recommend if you’re looking for something that’s artistic and a cut above the rest

I highly recommend!!! We visited this store on a whim when in Fes and had a great experience. The owner was incredibly helpful, spoke great English and seemed honest. After comparing to other rug stores, his prices were fair while quality and selection were exceptional. The store is right on one of the 2 main Medina streets but might still be hard to find. You can text or WhatsApp in advance to choose a convenient meeting place.

The Mellah Souk (artisans cooperative of fes) is a refreshing change from the Medina. Unlike the old town, here you will find honest prices and no attempt to extort sales from unwitting travellers.

Instead you will find a warm welcome, an offer of berber tea and an Aladin's Cave of ceramics, silver ware, leather and carpets (their speciality).

We visited twice, each time spending an hour or two exploring the store and talking with Adil and the team.

We went away with pots, cups, cosmetics, a beautiful leather bag and a stunning carpet.

They even helped find a tour to Chefchaouen.

    A must visit.

Saha to Adil and the team for one of the highlights of our time in Fes.

Great experience, the staff were very friendly and helpful. I’ve shopped at different businesses in Fes for rugs and I’ll be back here in the future.

Buying a Berber rug in a Moroccan souk was going to be a nerve wracking experience. However I enjoyed haggling and viewed many carpets and it became evident that Ali knew what I was looking for and found my perfect rug. I completed the postal form myself to ensure the correct address and was encouraged to take photos of my rug and the number on the postal form so I could track my purchase.
Amazingly it took only one week to arrive I am thrilled to have my authentic pure wool Moroccan rug for a fraction of the price I would have to pay n England. Thank you Ali.

We stumbled upon Medin'Art while walking round in Fes. It was a welcome escape from the busy street. The boutique is very nicely curated and the two gentlemen working there were so welcoming and helpful. I found some unique pieces that I absolutely love and enjoy wearing.
I had my eye on couple of more items but I was unable to go back before leaving Fes. I contacted them via email and Laurence was very responsive and accommodating. She sent me pictures, confirmed my order and shipped the items I wanted. Everything arrived beautifully packaged and a lot sooner than expected. Thanks Laurence and Medin'Art team for going above and beyond.

Possibly the best leather shop in Fes, great selection, fantastic quality, very honest pricing and the owner, Mohamed is amazing, super friendly and with a great sense of humour. When in Fes don't miss this shop, best possible place to get your leather jackets !

Gorgeous, I strongly recommend !!! It is an absolute treasure trove of exquisite handcrafted items. The colors, patterns, and designs are a true feast for the eyes. The store's ambiance, with its warm lighting and inviting layout, makes the shopping experience truly enjoyable. The staff deserves special mention for their hospitality and warm welcome. A must-visit store in Fes for anyone looking to bring home a piece of Morocco's artistic and cultural legacy !

Very nice people with beautifully handmade products. High quality for a very reasonable price. They have also been constantly available during the shipping process and have offered their assistance with any and all problems until everything has arrived.

We visited Art Naji during a family trip over the holidays. We had so much fun seeing all the beautiful pottery and choosing our own.
The company was terrific to work with and checked that we received the pieces intact. It was received and unpacked, and it is indeed in perfect condition.
We love the pieces we had custom-designed. We also greatly appreciate the extra small blue and white container with the silver trim they surprised us with. .

I have passed along your information to friends who are planning to visit Morocco.
