My boyfriend and I had the most AMAZING time on our 2 day tour from Marrakech to the Merzouga Desert. Everything was INCREDIBLE from start to finish. Mohamed answered all my questions and made booking our tour so easy. Our guide, Omar, was the the ABSOLUTE BEST! He taught us so much about the history of the areas we visited and about Morocco as a whole. He made sure we were able to see all the amazing sites while getting us to our camel ride in time for the sunset. Our campground was gorgeous and Ismael was the most gracious host. The restaurants we stopped at along the way had the most delicious food. I've already recommended this tour to friends & family interested in visiting Morocco and I will definitely be booking another tour with them on my next trip. Don't hesitate to book a tour with this AWESOME company!

We had a fantastic trip to Chefchaouen! The ride with the car was really comfortable and the time was running. We stopped after two hours for a short break, what was really good. After we arrived in Chefchaouen we had four hours of free time. It's was so nice seeing the city and his brilliant blue colors everywhere. Especially thank you to Redouane for his good company and guidance all the time. We can fully recommend the trip!

My Mom and I did a book binding workshop at Craft Draft in Fes with the artisan owner, Hamza. It was so fabulous that now I'm all fired up to go learn how to do coptic stitch book binding back in California. Hamza is such a pleasure to meet that it's worth doing any workshop he offers just so you can talk with him about Morocco. He seriously is one of my favorite people in the world. He's so articulate in English, so thoughtful and funny and such a great artisan. He is very well educated and has a really interesting perspective on Moroccan history, culture and the arts. His wife and friends are lovely -- some of them stopped by during our workshop. Just go to Craft Draft and do one of his workshops. It will be a highlight of your time in Fes. Thank you Hamza!

Our Fes experience was incredible. Our tour guide, Kamal, met us early and went above and beyond in his effort to show us the city. After seeing the highlights outside of the Medina, he took us on a very thorough and well planned walk. He knew everyone, and throughout the day, children would run up to him and show him their love. He truly is a part of the community. We saw everything we wanted to see, plus sights we would not have ever known about. There was no pressure to buy, but every courtesy was offered. It was a full seven hours, more than we expected and all we could have hoped for. Highly recommended.

We spent 4 fantastic days traveling over 1100 kilometers with Boykban Ali from Fez to the Sahara to Marrakech. Ali was friendly and talkative when asked while also giving plenty of space.

We had an amazing 3-day tour from Marrakech to Fes with Saïd - a very professional, personable and caring person to spend time with for 3 days. As a Berber himself, he shared extraordinary insight and stories on the nomadic and desert lifestyle that we never expected. Saïd provided exceptional services and took the extra mile to attend to our unexpressed desires. He has an amazing attitude and a wonderful character.

This tour went beyond our expectation as we had always gone on tours that were dominated by tiring stops and resistance to spend money at designated places - but it was definitely the opposite and was the highlight of our entire trip in Morocco. (This is my first time writing a TripAdvisor review after going on many tours - and it was worth being my first!)

We originally booked a 3-day desert trip with Morroco Camel tours, but when another portion of our trip fell through, we contacted Mostofa and he arranged a 9-day trip based on where we wanted to go in Morroco. We had a private car, driver, and guide and we thought the price was quite affordable for all that we got. Both our driver Hassan and our guide Mohammed were excellent. The camel trip was a highlight, but the entire trip was just outstanding. I highly recommend these guys.

We booked a 4 day private desert tour from Marakesh to Merzouga and the entire experience was above our expectations. Everything ran very smoothly according to the schedule and we felt right from the beginning that we are dealing with professionals.😊

Firstly our guide and driver, Omar, was really good at explaining about the local culture and showing us places outside the regular touristic route. We took short brakes whenever we need it, and he made it very easy and struggle free for us to find good and quiet restaurants for lunch. His driving is impeccable, very safe and carefully ‘floating’ through the somewhat chaotic Moroccan traffic. Because of this, the trips were less tiring than we expected.

In the desert we stayed one night at the wild camp and one night at the luxury camp. It was a unique experience that is difficult to describe in words.
The desert staff, Barac and Bassou, took really good care of us, having great conversations by the fire and the berber drums.
Bassou, helped guiding the camels and he prepared the best meals we had in Morocco so far. All this in the middle of nowhere, in the desert. It was amazing.

This is the company that you need to book for a desert experience, no doubt about it.

Hassan's company was suggested to me by a friend who already had an excellent experience with them. We were delighted with everything Hassan had organized for us. Communication was high-speed and correct. The camel tour with the sunset and sandboarding was great. The camp was fantastic. We chose two luxurious tents and didn't regret it a second. There was a bathroom and even a shower! The food was delicious, and all of Hassan's staff was amazing! The night by the fire with Berber music, full moon, and stars was unforgettable. Great experience!

If you want to have your trip planned for you, with flexibility and at very reasonable prices, look no further than Atlas Desert Tours. Having wrapped up our 9 day tour yesterday, I can totally vouch for every one of the glowing reviews on TripAdvisor for the company and the guides. We were fortunate to have Mohamed as our driver/ guide with us on our trip and are truly grateful to him for the great time he showed us around. Super friendly, flexible, attentive, punctual, safe, could keep going, Mohamed is one of the best guides we have had, and we are well traveled. His objective opinion on options, be it shopping or sites, helped us Mahe the right choice, without getting persuaded one way or the other. We decided on Atlas Desert after a bit of research and responses from other companies to our queries, so I'll say that the prices here were quite a bit cheaper than other companies, for similar itineraries, even with a private tour and deluxe accommodations. Our riads were fantastic, throughout, with 6 course vegetarian dinner and great breakfast options. The places we stopped by for lunch stops were very clean and had good vegetarian options as well. The local guides arranged at Fes, Chefchaouen and Marrakech were superb, and their passion and knowledge about their cities was clear, special thanks to Mr Abdul, Jamal and Mohammed, the local guides we had. The highlight of our trip was indeed the Sahara desert, where we managed to catch the sunset and sunrise, the glamping accommodation there, the Camel guides, dinner and the Berber drums show, all were truly spectacular. Being from the area, it was super sweet and very kind of Mohamed to take us to his home for tea and introduce us to his family. Never have we met guides that are this personable and genuine. From the planning phase, we are last minute travelers and didn't reach out to Said until a month before our trip, and despite being a busy travel season between Christmas and New Years, Said was super prompt in responding and the entire arrangement and co- ordination was flawless! Atlas Desert clearly knows what they are doing and are super professional. Thanks again for making our first trip to morocco a super memorable one!

It was a great trip thanks to everyone at Lanoria Travel. Mr. Omar, thank you very much for the long and safe drive. Our children miss you and say they want to see you again! Mr. Momo, thank you for your help during our stay at Fez. We really enjoyed your city guide. It was a great honor to meet Ms. Kimura as well !

We were fortunate to experience a cusomized tour May 2023 through Best Travel Morocco. Our guide, Siad (sp?), was amazing. He was a wonderful conversationalist, quite flexible with the schedule and shared information about local culture and music. His suggestions for restaurants and museums to visit were spot on. I would 100% ask for him again! Everything we could possible need was considered and accommodated. Siad even found a lovely local winery and arranged for an unscheduled tour. Oh...and did I mention the shopping - tiles, pottery, leather goods, clothing - so many options!

    Itinerary:

May 2nd: We were picked up Tangier ferry port (Sightseeing)
May 3rd: Tangier - Rif Mountains - Drive to Chefchaouen
May 4th: Chefchaouen (Blue City) - Rif Mountains – Fes
May 5th: Fes sightseeing escorted by a local official guide
May 6th: Fes - Volubilis (Roman Empire Ruins) - Moulay Idriss - Meknes – Rabat
    May 7th: Rabat - Casablanca – Marrakech
May 8th: Marrakech sightseeing escorted by a local official guide.
May 9th: Marrakech at leisure - and transfer to airport by Siad

My wife and I enjoyed a truly superb 11 days in Morocco. The whole trip was seamless and very well curated by the team. We covered so much ground in our time there but it didn’t feel rushed or exhausting - the perfect duration in each location; we flew in to Casablanca and then visited Rabat, Chefchaouen, Fes, Meknes, the Sahara, and finishing in Marrakesh (with numerous stops along the way). The traveling was a breeze in a very comfy Toyota Land Cruiser and made even more enjoyable by our INCREDIBLE GUIDE - MOHA. I’m sure all the guides are great but we cannot recommend Moha more highly; he was so pleasant, knowledgeable, and accommodating. Moha made hours in the car educational and enjoyable. He knew about special spots all over the country and it was obvious how great a guy he is by how he was greeted by so many people he knew in all the towns we visited.

The Riads that were organized were all centrally located and spot on - we particularly loved the roaring open fires that the rooms had (particularly as we visited in Dec / Jan).

We are confident that in just 11 days we got an awesome all round experience of Morocco and highly recommend the trip to other couples looking for the same thing.

    *A couple of recommendations:

    1. Don’t buy the a rug in the first store you go in. While the local guides are awesome, they’re encouraged to direct you to some stores - don’t feel pressed to purchase.
    2. Ensure to always have change or smaller notes ready for tips - it’s a tip heavy culture. The local guides and staff in the Riads were all fantastic so we were more than happy to tip but you need to have the right values to hand.
    3. Do leave try to have some space in luggage to bring back gifts / trinkets from the markets - we loved the leather goods in Fes and the rug stores all have the ability to ship globally.
