Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Truly fascinating but do not try it without a guide. Hundreds of dead-end streets and very narrow and crowded. The tanneries are worth the trip.

This is a special experience in this big city. The park is large and its views are great. I very much loved the experience. I will repeat it as soon as possible 😊

A 14th century fondouk that was the Inn of the Carpenters that now is an amazing museum displaying Morocco's various native woods plus tools and wooden doors and furniture.

The Fes el Bali Medina is one of the best in the world! There is everything there. So many cool sights, markets with fruits, clothes, souvenirs, leather goods, etc. The Fes el Bali Medina is incredible! It is a must see and you can’t miss it. I highly recommend for a “real” taste of Morocco!

On my first day in Fes, I used this beautiful gate as my reference point to go back to my riad. There are lots do behind these Gate: eating at restaurants, shopping, buying Moroccan sweets, visiting tourist attractions, watching people passing by, etc.

Noted that this Gate has 2 colors: Blue on one side, green on the other side. In front of this Gate are the modern parts of Fes.

My boyfriend and I had the most AMAZING time on our 2 day tour from Marrakech to the Merzouga Desert. Everything was INCREDIBLE from start to finish. Mohamed answered all my questions and made booking our tour so easy. Our guide, Omar, was the the ABSOLUTE BEST! He taught us so much about the history of the areas we visited and about Morocco as a whole. He made sure we were able to see all the amazing sites while getting us to our camel ride in time for the sunset. Our campground was gorgeous and Ismael was the most gracious host. The restaurants we stopped at along the way had the most delicious food. I've already recommended this tour to friends & family interested in visiting Morocco and I will definitely be booking another tour with them on my next trip. Don't hesitate to book a tour with this AWESOME company!

This is the area where the leather tannery coop is located surrounded by an abundance of leather stores. They give you a mint leaf to counters act the smell of the bird poop they use in the tanning process.

We walked by this store and saw the incredible rugs and knew we had to go in. The store is owned by two brothers, Idriss and Abdul, they are very kind and helpful. They let you have a look on your own and if you have questions are very happy to help. We ended up purchasing such an incredible piece at a very reasonable price. I’m so thankful we stopped here and definitely recommend it!

My family of 6 took an incredible 10 day tour around Morocco with this team.
The itinerary they designed was fantastic, bringing us to highlights across the country, while being mindful of driving times, incorporating delicious meals, and booking unique accommodations for us along the way.

For our packed 10-day experience, the tour price was extremely reasonable. My favorite stop was definitely in the Sahara, where we stayed at a luxury glamping site, had tea in nomadic Berber tents, rode camels, and sand-boarded down the dunes at sunset. However, every site we went to was uniquely stunning in their own way. Each experience was so streamlined (including what time we went to each attraction to maximize their beauty), that it’s clear this team knows what they’re doing.

Our driver, Youssef, was especially wonderful. He is so knowledgeable, patient, and just fun to be around (which is ideal when we spent so much time driving around the country together).

I’m so glad we took this tour that brought us to the unique experiences, stunning scenery, and friendly people all around Morocco. I highly recommend booking with Desert Morocco tours, and ask for Youssef!

This attraction is a neighborhood located just outside the Old Medina. It has stores and shops like those of the Medina, but not as big. Took several pictures of items that interest me, no buying, just looking around.

Oh, what a wonderful spa experience! Loubna scrubbed every inch of us very diligently and professionally on very warm marble slabs. We were then given very nice massages in another private room. The Hammam itself is lovely, with tiled walls and wonderful resting areas between the scrub, massage and after salon. The facility was clean and we were not rushed through the experience. At the front there was a menu of activities and packages with prices which I thought were quite reasonable. The gentleman at the front recommended extending the massage time and I wish we had listened to him!

My husband and I did the hammam + massage at Spa Laaroussa. It was heavenly. The experience was so relaxing and soothing. The masseuses were professional and provided a calm environment that enhanced the experience. Highly recommend!
