Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We had an unforgettable experience with Suricata Safaris, camping amongst lions, elephants and buffalo. Our guide Mandela was experienced, relaxed, a safe driver and reliable, expressing his passion and expertise for animals throughout the safari. Mandela was sure to persist in finding animals, especially Cheetahs who had just finished a hunt. Tito our chef made incredible food and plenty of it! He was very kind and helpful and every meal was delicious and filling. The trip was well organised and we saw so many incredible animals despite it being low season! Thank you for having us! 🦒🐘🦛🦁

During our 13-day trip to Tanzania, we chose Gosheni Safaris. Excellent guides can quickly lead you to where the animals are, and they will share information through walkie-talkies. William is very friendly to children and patient in explaining. On the last day, we drove farther to see cheetahs, but the road was not easy to drive. Fortunately, the cheetah got on our car. Because of the rainy season, the car got stuck in the mud. William was very experienced and quickly dealt with the problem. So it is very important to choose an experienced guide on the trip.

The pilot was really engaging - kept us entertained and did a good job of pointing out all the animals we were seeing. I don't know how many carrots he eats per day, but his eyes are IMPRESSIVE!

Although I know the animals are more luck than anything, we saw lots of animals and CJ was great about pointing them out. The breakfast was wonderful, and the entire staff was super-friendly and helpful and wonderful. A hot air balloon ride over the Serengeti is pretty much always going to be great, but they really have a well oiled machine with beautiful set-ups on the ground and great people to run it. I was really happy with my decision to take this trip.

Amazing 5-day Safari with Meru Slopes, I didn't expect so much. Perfectly organised, delicious meals prepared by our chef Joana. Despite the rainy season, we were lucky with the weather and our guide Florian was excellent. We were able to see lots of animals, and take as much time as we wanted to observe them.
As I was travelling alone, I joined a group, which made the experience all the better. The price is clearly worth it!

The tour with Omar was incredible. Omar really knows everything about animals and is an incredibly nice person and very humorous. He took very, very good care of us. He even offered us to wake him up at night when we go to the bathroom in case we were afraid. He has a good contact with locals and tries to show a lot of Tanzania and culture outside of the tour. With him you feel very safe and you can rely on him 1000%. He has given us a very secure feeling . he knows all the spots where you can see the animals. even the rare animals. thanks to Omar we have seen everything in three days. Omar is worth visiting this country and these national parks again. Thank you Omar

still remember the first picture of African it amazing how wildlife moves example wildbeest how predator hunts prey it's amazing yellow grass, broken only by flat-topped acacia trees and the odd strolling giraffe, all set beneath the dome of a perfect blue sky. Well here’s the good news – it really does exist. Tanzania is most amazing place where you will forget all your stress and you will enjoy also many activities example materuni and coffee tour my kids really enjoy we did 7 day but it was not enough next year we will plan another safari with Serengeti African Tours

My girlfriend and I booked a three days safari from Arusha to serengeti and ngorongoro mid may 2024.
We are extremely pleased by This safari and suricata safaris

Before safari, communication with Glory was smooth and easy. Important informations are clearly conveyed.

During safari, we were taken care of and briefed nicely.
Our driver Rocky Made the trip the enchantment you would expect. Rocky speaks english and excellent french. Cook James amazed us with his lunches.

We were lucky to have Them both.

We selected mid range night accomodation. We enjoyed great welcome, diner, comfy beds in angata camp ngorongoro.

Cars have 8 seats, two in front for driver and Cook, 6 for clients. Highly confortable even on bumpy roads.

This deserves 5 stars. We strongly recommend suricata safaris. Wise choice for skilled professionalism.

Had an incredible time in the off season. Managed to see a lot of wildlife with zero crowd. Very magical experience. Hassan is an expert guide who made sure we were comfortable throughout and shared detailed knowledge about the animals, fauna and history. Highly recommended

I would highly recommend Suricata Safaris, especially because the staff are warm, friendly and helpful. Our guide Mandela, set up each experience thoughtfully and shared his love of the animals with us. I looked forward to hearing the information he shared. He responded to all my questions.

The accommodations at Seronera Lodge, Angata
Ngorongoro Tented Camping and Suricata Boma Lodge were outstanding in terms of comfort, food choices and hospitality. It appears that the personnel enjoy their jobs and respond as members of a team. The team spirit at Suricata Boma Lodge is exemplary. They sang, danced and laughed their way into our hearts.

Daniel greeted us and explained how the tour worked. In addition, he included a city tour of the market and other locations.

Tito cooked nutritious and delicious lunches daily and Mandela served them at the well-located picnic sites throughout the national parks.

This tour was even better than I expected! The company communicated very professionally and were very helpful with transport for hotels and airport. On the tour we had a very experienced guide/driver who found so many animals for us and knew lots about them. He was the best guide I've had in 4 weeks in Africa. The camping was fun and the support staff prepared excellent meals and helped with luggage. I would 100% recommend this company for my own friends and family!

Because of some misunderstanding I received a considerable upgrade by Mr Sanjay - the manager. That was very generous of him; I had the unique experience of staying at top-notch lodges like Ngorongoro Serena Lodge and Acacia Seronera.

My brand-new safari truck was driven by Thomas, among the most experienced of rangers ever. He was pleasant and considerate, and - more than this - has at his disposal an impressive amount of ready knowledge of flora, fauna as well as culture and history. Unfailingly, he managed to maneuver his truck on exactly the right spots for me to shoot perfect pictures, without ever taking undue risks. His services are highly recommended!

Something to never forget. Amazing trip through Tanzania with a very friendly and experienced driver. Adrian is one of the most sweetest persons we met during our trip. He knows so much about all the animals, the country and the nature. Even though it’s a bit harder to spot animals during rain-season, he did everything he could to make this journey unforgettable.
We did find all the animals of The Big Five and a lot more special and wonderful animals. Matoke (EasyTravel) arranged a wonderful trip for us. Thanks Adrian and Matoke (EasyTravel) for making this trip very special!

Right from the start our engagent with Kilipath was excellent. We received quick acknowledgement of our enquiry and our consultant, Happiness, sent several quote options within 24 hours.

Our guide, Godfrey, was both an excellent driver (under sometimes difficult conditions) and extremely knowledgeable about the fauna and flora right across northern Tanzania.

Our four day, three night tour took in Tarangire National Park, Serengeti (south, east and central) and the Ngorongoro Crater.

Under Godfrey’s expert guidance we saw more than we thought possible. Every day was incredible. The accommodation was excellent, as was the food.

    10/10 - we’ll be back!
