- kirsty s1 contributionMervin, Raj's son,+2305915 5178 took us on the full 7 waterfalls day. He was kind, patient and informative. Also respectful of my ageing legs ! The walk was as expected; tough but very rewarding. We even had a fish pedicure in a pool! We were welcomed into the family home for a drink and to get changed, which was much needed. Thanks so much 😊Written 14 March 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Zuzana D5 contributionsOne of my best trips on the island. I love to climb to the top, however I only recommned this to sporty people as it is quite hard and dangerous. Dont go when raining. But the view so totally worthy. Easy to park, good signages all around.Written 13 March 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Bianca AllesandroMilan, Italy31 contributionsOne of the most beautiful beaches I’ve visited.very long with beautiful sand and clear waters but I advice you put on shoes while waking on the beach because of sharp shells.

Today, I had the pleasure of visiting with my boyfriend, marking his first experience here. It remains largely unchanged despite the numerous visits I've made. Several modifications. This tour is quite captivating, especially for someone like me who has a fondness for tortoises, particularly those that originate from my homeland, Seychelles. Observing the crocodile is consistently an intriguing experience, as they often remain perfectly still, resembling a rock in their environment. The proximity of the monkeys as they consumed the nuts was quite fascinating. On this occasion, I sampled the crocodile meat at the restaurant, which featured a plate showcasing various preparation methods. Therefore, it is worth considering giving it a try. The flavour profile is reminiscent of chicken. I found it lacking in appeal, as it does not align with my preferences. However, I have made an effort. This park offers a captivating experience for families and friends alike.Written 13 March 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Robert L117 contributionsBeautiful mostly level ground. Non/Mauritians have to pay 300 Rupees per person. Do take the map as there are not too many directions or any labels about the flora. We found out that by the ticketing kiosk one can hire a guide. Our highlights were seeing the large tortoises (counted ten including one baby) and the giant lily pad pond. There are quite a few mango trees in the park and lots of dropped fruits. There’s a deer pen too and a pond with a few quacking ducks.Written 19 December 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Bobby SanManila, Philippines72 contributionsIt's very hot this time of year but the place was busy with mainly European tourists. There's a souvenir shop next to the coffee shop on top pf of the sand formation where the 7-coloured earth is situated.Written 22 January 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Jurgen BBrussels, Belgium2,903 contributionsGorgeous beach and enough shade on / behind it. And since the sun hates me, that is the most important feature of a beach to meWritten 11 January 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Bonnieblue146 contributionsSpectacular view for the lookout which is down a slope about 200m, pretty busy as we went mid morning, be careful it’s slippery and uneven. Various stalls set up on the way down hawking tourist souvenirs you can well do without but they don’t bother you and were proving pretty popular. It was funny that everyone congregated at one end of the viewing area to take photos, people seemingly couldn’t be bothered to walk along to the other end of the viewing area where you could take equally stunning shots across the gorge, which is what we did.
One thing that did annoy us was that at the top where all the buses and cars parked some idiots were obviously taunting the monkeys that congregate in the grass and in the trees and unsurprisingly the monkeys attacked them, they ran screaming and laughing onto their tour bus, the guide should have rebuked them for their stupidity but didn’t. There were female monkeys with their babies and the males were obviously anxious to protect them, it’s at moments like this that make you ashamed for some tourists at their behaviour.Written 14 March 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
