Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

A great one day tour to cover all of Kathmandu UNESCO sites. Yes it is pretty long but the pace and timing is very manageable. The tour will give you an extensive background not only about the sites but also about Kathmandu area & Nepal. Worth the whole day spend around the valley and recommended if you have only limited number of days in Kathmandu.

Our guide, Sarita, whom we have spent the day before visiting Chandragiri with, is very understanding and flexible in adapting to our needs and limitation. We recommend her highly should you join any of the tour by this provider. We ended up requesting her service through out our visit in Kathmandu.

The pre-dawn wake up call was rough but the sunrise view and the view of the Himalayas peak was priceless. My wife and I have seen a number of sunrises before, however, the Himalaya & Mt. Everest peak backdrop was one of a kind. Our guide, Sarita, took us to Himalaya Club Hotel for breakfast (not part of the package) with a gorgeous view of the Nagarkot hills area. She then took us to the hike starting point, about 10 minutes away, and start a 11.5 hike (mostly descending - hiking stick recommended) thru the local areas giving us a flavor of the local daily activities & community. The whole experience worth every penny of it and Sarita was the perfect guide as she is knowledgeable about the area, culture, speak very good english and very understanding of our needs and limitation. We ended up requesting her service throughout our stay in Kathmandu.

I’m a lifetime mountaineer, skier, lover of high altitudes and adventure.

I rarely write reviews, but this trip was truly spectacular.

The ascent from Kathmandu to Kala Patthar is an extremely unique experience, and executed to perfection.

Stops at Lukla airport, early sunrise transit, touching down in Kala Patthar and breakfast at the Everest Hotel made the day as good as any I’ve ever had.

I recommend this trip with all my heart, and want to thank Buddhi, Paras, and our pilot Sujal for the experience of a lifetime.

Guide Dipesh and Driver Luxman were great. Dipesh was a lot of fun and full of knowledge. I learned so much in 6 hrs with him about Nepalese culture and way of life.

Very well guided. The steep drive up to Nagarkot was spectacular with great views over the hillsides. Sadly there was too much cloud and smog to see Annapurna and Everest, so best to enjoy what you can see and not worry about what you can’t. Bhaktapur looks untouched by the great earthquake of 2015 due to superb restoration. Lots to see while you dodge the motorbikes which terrorise pedestrians in the ancient streets. Recommended

Tour guide and driver were prompt, attentive, and knowledgeable of the city streets. My tour guide Shanti was very knowledgeable of ancient and local history, very enthusiastic with sharing, and thorough. I definitely recommend Chandragiri tour.

The Everest Base Camp heli tour from Kathmandu was truly an unforgettable experience. Everything was meticulously planned and executed, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable journey. The highlight was undoubtedly the breathtaking view from Hotel Everest View, which offered a spectacular perspective of the region. Our pilot was exceptional, with extensive knowledge and experience, making us feel safe and comfortable throughout the trip. The booking process was easy and hassle-free, adding to the overall convenience. Despite having an international flight on the same day, the team ensured we were back in Kathmandu on time, demonstrating their professionalism and commitment to customer satisfaction. I highly recommend Breakfree Adventures for anyone looking for a high-quality, memorable adventure in Nepal.

I travel extensively but I never do any reviews on www.tripadvisor.com. I feel this is the one experience that I had to write about. I've been looking to book this tour for a little while, so I've been doing extensive research on which company or agency to book this with. I come across Outshine Adventure and decided to book with them. As with any booking of this type, there's an element of risk because you really can't ever be sure how things will work out. But this was handled by @Gokul in a very professional way, starting from the time the trip was booked to the final pickup from the airport once the helicopter came back from Lukla airport (Lukla is a stop on the way to Everest base camp). It was very easy to communicate with Gokul and he also with us the day before the trip to go over details and answer the questions. We ran into a small delay on the return being controlled by the agency. Overall I rate this experience 10/10. Highly recommended @Gokul and Outshine Adventure team.

Great escape from the bustle of the city. Good communication and pickup. Shekar was informative, friendly and gave a wonderfull perspective of the history of Nepal. Great views from Nagarcot tower, weather permitting, followed by 10km gentle walk with some uphill,we are both around 60 years old. Finishing with lunch at the temple. Highly recommended
