- Stephen C1 contributionMy Father-in-law has been a customer of Jesse & Victor at Rajawongse for 30 years plus. I have heard lots of great stories of his visits, and wonderful complements of how great the service you receive is, and more importantly the quality of the suits.
Well I must say the complements do not do the service and quality of my experience and garments justice.
I was in Bangkok for three days. The advice and attention to detail that I received was first class! I was made to feel at home straight away and nothing was too much trouble.
Victor, Jesse and their wonderful team are true professionals and experts at their craft.
If you are ever in Bangkok please call in to visit the team, you will not be disappointed.

John was extremely helpful helping to decide the type of suits suitable for the occasion I mentioned what was for. pros and cons were considered. No moments of rush to help me make the decisions. Recommendatiion as to the type of cloth, colours, right down to the little details of collar types and buttons were also addressed. Very professional in handling requirements amd providing suggestions to alternatives. Not allowed to take photos. I didn't know about the ban so I took some. But it makes sense. Went back for the fitting and the suit was perfect. I purchased a second suit. There is a mixture of small shopping malls, street shops and market stalls. Many pieces designed by Pierre Balmain, handmade fans, ballroom gowns and everyday dresses, shoes... The consultation was really great and Peter took 1.5-2 hours of his time and gave me great advice on fabrics and workmanship. The finished suit arrived about 1-1.5 months later. It fits really well, is top quality and I am very happy with it. Luckily I was referred to Mr James Armani who knew exactly what to do! He was not only precise with every measurement. He was professional and knowledgeable with every question I had! This has absolutely been the best experience with even better quality! We went there last year (2023) and this year we came back twice so she can olease herself with all her Demon Slayer character, all the little things that she likes for very very reasonnable prices. You can of course still bargain
Easy to access from Chinatown
We came with the boat and alight at Ratchawong Pier OR you can take the MRT and alight at Wat Mangkhon station, walk a little bit and there you are in this busy market that can be crowdy. You'll find an excellent selection of fruits, vegetables, and seafood here.
However, you should be aware that the prices are a bit higher than what you might expect in typical Bangkok markets. For example, mangos and mangosteens are priced higher here compared to other local markets.
The market is also a great spot for tourists looking to get a taste of Thai food culture. There's a wide range of Thai food products available, perfect for those who want to buy small quantities or pick up some processed foods as souvenirs. I have purchased clothes in the past and the clothes from Crown Tailor are excellent quality, packaged and shipped beautifully and fit perfectly. As others have mentioned, the store's selection of fine fabrics is their strong point. The only change I noticed was a smaller array of men's clothes and accessories to choose from.
