Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

A very large and busy market. Lots of variety and bargains are still available for the discerning buyer. Large variety of articles from sinks to jewellery and silk flowers.
Beware of the traffic bottleneck which is horrendous and taxi"s are difficult to hail when leaving however their is a train station right opposite the market.

Five stars to Pu of Thai Tour Guides! My intention was to take me to the places that I had on my list. But Pu made it into a tour of Bangkok while still accomplishing the shopping. She showed me the different facets of the city while traveling on different modes of transportation: Hilton’s boat, canal boat, Sky Train, Subway, tuktuk. That gave me unique experiences of how people move around the city. We also went to different markets - Chinatown, Indian Market, JJ Market, Old Siam Mall. All the time she asked if I was ok (since I had just flown in that morning and guided me across safely on busy streets with motorcycles and cars that don’t slow down. She also took me to the best local places to get great food. I really appreciated all that she did during the 5 hours. It gave me unforgettable memories of Thailand.

What an amazing day. I booked this tour day before with a pickup from my hotel. My guide, Oil, found me. The car pulled up and off we went. It was about an hour drive out to Damnoen Saduak Floating Market with plenty of sites to see along the way, and Oil was narrating as we went along. We got to the River Market and found our boat and took off. About halfway through, I asked if I could get a shot at driving the long boat, and the operator said I could. I guess being a professional boat captain myself helped convince him. We made it back to the area where we boarded and walked around a bit, then left and headed towards the Maeklong Railway Market. We found a good spot to watch the train come in and it was something to see and experience. On the way back to Bangkok we stopped at the Maeklong Salt Lake Farm, had some coffee, some Sticky rice we had gotten at the market and I put my drone up for some nice shots of the operation.
Highly recommend this trip and Oil as a guide.

We had a fabulous day visiting various Temples. Our guide was very informative, polite and friendly. We were unable to go to the Grand Palace as it was closed due to a public holiday. We were not informed beforehand and It was a little disappointing but our guide took us around various Temples and to a local flower market. We were driven around which enabled us to see more. Just one to be aware if booking check public holidays. Overall we enjoyed our day with our guide. We booked through Viator.

Going and climbing to level 5 is good for health and body. Take the tour before it gets too hot. The nature is beautiful and the steep can be a challenge for people with weak legs. But the trip to level 5 is a must.

This place was little bit crowded but look exactly how we see in you tube and pictures. Colorful, cultural and good to buy souvenirs.

We had booked several tours through Viator prior to arrival in Asia. This was NOT worth what we paid. After receiving several emails about our tour, I thought it would be great. Nothing on WhatsApp the day of tour. We found our guide with a paper and my name on it. We had a large van and a driver, as well as a guide. We were unprepared for this. The drive from cruise port to the Grand Palace took 3 hours. The driver spent most of the time either on his phone or chatting up with the driver in their own language. And, they were loud! The driver would speed up and slow down, not a pleasant drive. We arrived at the Grand Palace (well, across the road and down a bit from the actual palace) Apparently, there was some type of ceremony that caused traffic to back up. When nearing the gate, the guide told my husband, who was wearing shorts, he would need to buy pants. He admitted it was his fault for not advising on this at the cruise terminal, where we met. He laughed. Also, he was a challenge to understand. He did know the Grand Palace, though. He was wanting to take lots of pictures of my husband and I and was angry when we kept telling him no. We were at the Palace for less than an hour. The guide asked about shopping and we said we were not looking for high end or junk. We are more impulse buyers than shoppers. We were looking forward to the market we had requested in the selection process. The guide decided we did not have enough time to go to the market (it was about noon and our onboard was 5:30PM) Instead, as he was busy on his phone, sending kissy face emojis, and speaking with the driver, they decided to take up to what was clearly a shop for tourists. Jewelry and junk. We browsed and when we went to find the guide, he was have a drink and chatting up a lady at the counter. All the way to Bangkok, we had no real shopping experience and no opportunity to have a Thai lunch. The guide insisted we head back. Again on the return, the driver and guide were talking and laughing. At one point, the guide explained to us that they get paid by the day not the hour. So, at the end of an 8 hour day, with allotment for lunch included in the 8 hours, they would not be paid extra. I guess the driver and the guide wanted to be done before the 8 hours. And, they were. The driver was much speedier on the return trip and we were back on board before 3PM. Guess we did have time to shop. This was 100% the worst tour and not worth even half what we paid. I will not recommend to anyone, not my clients and not to other travels.
