Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

What an incredible experience. I chose this sanctuary over all others, including those in Phuket, because I saw so many people comment in the ethics of the business and I have to agree. You do get to give the elephants a mud bath, then splash them clean in the creek, but how much time they want to spend at either activity is up to them and they are allowed to come and go as they wish. There are 3 elephants at this sanctuary, all females. The baby (who is technically a toddler haha) was so adorable and it was so lovely feeding her sugar cane and fruits. And so incredible giving so many foods to "grandma" and "momma" (they do have names but I'm terrible at names!) Lunch was lovely, with chicken, egg and rice with fresh fruit. Overall, I'm satisfied with my choice to wait to see the elephants until I came to Chiang Mai and I'm so glad I chose this sanctuary.

Last December, we booked Jimmy again for six days, and it was another unforgettable experience. We travelled with him from Chiang Mai through the mountains to Mae Doi Salong, stopping in small villages, exploring a variety of fascinating sights, and always enjoying incredible food. He has a great knowledge of local restaurants and consistently chose amazing places to eat.

What makes him truly special is his ability to share interesting background knowledge about so many topics. His constant good mood is infectious, creating a positive and enjoyable atmosphere throughout the trip.

We had an amazing time with him and were once again reminded of what a genuinely wonderful person he is. Thank you so much my dear friend Jimmy. Yours Justin

Really nice nature spot. The sticky waterfalls are definitely a unique experience. Our guide Mr. M took great pictures and showed us a cool cafe on the way to the falls

This was a great experience, with a very good guide. Roads were quiet mostly and felt very safe. The bike is good, and the distance was about right for me as an over-60 rider. Wonderful to get out in the countryside.

Our private tour by Tong was amazing. He was attentive, friendly and nice enough to take photos of my me and my fiancé at the attraction stops. He carefully crafted the route to make sure we were able to beat the crowd (it was lantern festival weekend), and he did!! There were no one in our photos and it truly felt like a private tour. Thank you for the lovely experience 10/10

I recently went on a coffee farm tour in Chiang Mai, and it was truly one of the best experiences I've had! From start to finish, the tour was informative and engaging. Our guide was incredibly passionate about coffee, nature, and the "sabai sabai" (easy-going) lifestyle. (“Good Vibes”)
He was very informative, he even told us the backstory of how the tour came to be, which added a personal touch.

One of the highlights was meeting one of the villagers who owns the land where we trekked through the jungle. He welcomed us into his daily life, showing us how he cares for his cows, grows other crops, and taught us how to pick coffee berries. We even had the chance to taste the fresh coffee cherries, which was a whole new experience for me.

The tour covered so much more than just coffee—it was a deep dive into the lifestyle of the community. We planted a coffee tree, learned how to process the beans (from stripping the skin to drying them), and had a delicious home-cooked lunch. Then, we got a mini coffee lesson, roasted our own beans (which was super cool and definitely a highlight!), and brewed a fresh cup of coffee.

The best part? We got to take our roasted beans home as a souvenir! Both the guide and the farmer were so helpful throughout the whole process, making it such an amazing learning experience.

The personal connection I felt with both our guide and the farmer was truly special. Their warmth and hospitality made the experience even more memorable. It was a humbling day, and I left feeling not only closer to the locals but with a much deeper understanding/appreciation of the entire coffee-making process, from farm to cup. If you’re in Chiang Mai, this tour is a must!!!!

This was one of my highlights of a big trip to Thailand.

A small group of around 8-9 and lots of fascinating stops along the way, you get a real feel for the countryside, local sights & sounds as well as some street food along the way.

I hadn't rode a bike for best part of 30 years and managed this adventure, the heat is manageable with the breeze and the guide is never far away with bottles of water.

It is a long 42km ride though so some stamina is needed and a top tip - don't be over-tempted to hit the e-bike boost button too often or you'll end up with jelly legs on the last 20 mins of the ride with no power - no power on an ebike means no peddle assist and these bikes can't really be ridden without it as they weigh a ton!

    Highly recommended.

Thank you, Untouched Thailand, for organising this wonderful experience!
I completed the ' Wat Phra That Doi Suthep spiritual sunrise tour ' with mom during Buddha day and I learned a lot about Thai culture and Thai Buddhism practice and history. Special shout out to our tour guide Tu for his knowledge, attention and humour. We booked directly with the company via their website and I would highly recommend this company and this tour.

Was a good day. Just a shame there wasn't an option to look around thebkaren village after ziplining. Also a buffet lunch was advertised but this was not the case. If you go during the dry season be prepared for some very tame white water rafting. My driver was very nice and took photos for me being a solo traveler.
