Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Wonderful experience! A great place to get to know those amazing animals. We were able to interact, feed and bath the elephants

Great experience. Good walking, great views, clean air and an entertaining guide. If you like the outdoors and have to choose between this and the White Temple etc, go for this one

We had a wonderful time. As other reviews say, we also looked for an ‘ethical’ visit. Please remember these are domesticated animals and the staff will remind you of that. They would not survive in the wild. We saw the grandmother, mother and baby daughter. The staff were wonderful with the elephants and appears as though they really do care for them. They have plenty of space to roam around and are able to walk away at any point. Nothing appeared forced. No chains, sticks or hurtful behaviour seen. Really beautiful experience. Lunch was wonderful and the surroundings are beautiful. What was also lovely to see was how everything was sustainable from the farm land and its surroundings. I was unsure about going to see the elephants but so glad we went to the elephant pride sanctuary.

Our tour guide, Austin, was so kind, responsive, accommodating and knowledgeable. He has a nice, clean, large van that made the trip so comfortable for our family of four. We visited Chiang Mai while it was hot (99 degrees) and smoggy, so having an air conditioned van was necessary. I highly recommend this tour to any first time visitor to Chiang Mai.

I enjoyed the tour a lot. The driver and our guide, Odette, were both fantastic. The modern temples were beautiful, the lunch was good, and the vehicle was comfortable.

It was one of the best fun things I have done in the 3 months I have been traveling. The hike was awesome, but there were times when it got hard and had to use hands to climb, but it felt great at the finish line. The guides ( B, aka Basketball, and Tony) were awesome. We were there to help or stop whenever we needed rest or help. Lunch was dope, and the best part was the biking back down. Everyone was so helpful and encouraging that this made my whole trip in Chiang Mai worth a while.

Amazing day trip, great guide and driver. Picked us up right at our hotel, took us around to two of the most spectacular temples outside the city. Highly recommend!

Incredible tour! Each temple we visited was incredible, and I learned so much about Buddhism and the history of the area. The blue temple was incredible and much less crowded than others I had visited which I enjoyed. The sticky waterfalls were the highlight of my day - a must-see when you're visiting Chiang Mai in my opinion! Since the group was just me, we were able to spend a lot of time going up and down the falls and I got a lot of great pictures and memories! Thank you to a memorable and fun-packed day

This is a beautiful trip. Lots to see and very tranquil up at the pagodas. I went in March so was a bit hazy due to burning season but there’s so much to see, I didn’t miss the Mountain View. The villagers were very friendly and was also lucky enough to see a green-tailed Sunbird on the nature walk. Mali was an excellent guide, gave lots of information and was friendly throughout. If you want a peaceful day out and want to see a quieter side of Thailand I’d highly recommend this tour.

The views are amazing and it is worth for refreshing yourself with the nature. The weather up to the hill will make you feel cold in the start of summer in Thailand.

Such an epic experience! We thoroughly enjoyed feeding, washing and playing with the elephants at the sanctuary. It was great to then go to Sticky Waterfall and have fun climbing up. Had plenty of time at both attractions. A great day thank you!

My wife and I had a wonderful morning at the Sticky Waterfalls, with our guide Watt. Visiting in the morning was ideal as we climbed the water falls before all of the larger crowds arrived.

Watt picked us up from in front of our hotel in a new Isuzu MUX as well which made for a comfortable ride for the tour. Watt was super friendly and accommodating, sharing details about living in the Chaing Mai area which was really interesting. After the waterfalls we stopped for a delcious Khao Soi lunch at a local hangout. All in all it was a really good tour with an amazing guide.
    Thanks again Watt!
