What travellers are saying
- BrockleyPhilLondon, United Kingdom48 contributionsIt is wheelchair accessible to walk around outside but there is no suitable wheelchair access to either the pagoda or the temple (which is up just a couple of steps.
The outside is still good for some interesting photos.Written 14 March 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Louise NAmsterdam, The Netherlands9 contributionsThe waterfall is not so special and a bit smelly. But the rollercoaster was really fun! We loved that, it's kinda pricey but worth it.Written 2 June 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- KimGEugene, OR16 contributionsWe visited the monastery after taking the cable car from town. There are beautiful gardens and shrines and statuary to see. If you want to enter the temples you must have your shoulders and knees covered, so dress appropriately or bring a wrap (men too).Written 3 May 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Ellie26 contributionsPleased we visited! Lovely day so lovely views. The areas to the left of the map were good but some areas seemed to be in building works, areas to the right were beautiful - gorgeous flowers and models of wonders of the world, amazing gardens and statues and nice to walk around. Can comfortably walk the whole thing but buggies available and regular if prefer not to! We easily spent three hours here. Would recommend!Written 14 February 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Ilya Mikhaylyukov (Russia)Hanoi, Vietnam61 contributionsRegular crowded and overpriced local market. If you are for the first time here in Asia. It will be great experience. Otherwise I recommend you to avoid such touristy and pricy parts of the cityWritten 22 January 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - BrockleyPhilLondon, United Kingdom48 contributionsThe walk around Xuan Huong Lake, Da Lat (5km of newly installed, reasonably wide flat path, with periodic sloped cut-outs down to road level) is largely wheelchair accessible, the only occasional challenges being street vendor and moped clutter covering the path at one point near the centre of town, the occasional fisherman’s moped parked on the path, and a sudden slope towards the lake near where the horse-drawn carriages park). It is particularly pleasant and picturesque to circumnavigate the path at dusk.Written 14 March 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Jeremy PDallas, Texas164 contributionsA peaceful, beautiful park, with lovely sets of flower arrangements, soothing background music,
a hothouse, with many varieties of roses.
It is directly adjacent to the lake, about a 30 minute walk from central Dalat.Written 8 April 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Kin NHanoi, Vietnam13 contributionsThe pagoda is large and very beautiful. The pagoda is located high and very nice. At the gate of the pagoda there is a very large cherry blossom tree. Inside the pagoda, we are overwhelmed by the big golden Buddha Statue.Written 21 March 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - H D1 contributionThe description of Bao Dai's palace on Trip Advisor is factually incorrect: "Bao Dai was ousted by Ho Chi Minh in 1945."
Correction: On September 2, 1945, Uncle Ho declared independence from the French and the most recent occupiers, the Empire of Japan. (After the dropping of US nuclear bombs, Japan surrendered to the Allied powers in August 1945.) Bao Dai abdicated to Ho Chi Minh's party, the Viet Minh, and handed over the official seals to the communists. Seeing how Bao Dai, the 13th emperor of the Nguyen dynasty was still influential and symbolic of Vietnam's history, Ho Chi Minh asked Bao Dai to become an advisor to the newly formed Democratic Republic of Vietnam (DRV) as a private citizen. Bao Dai agreed to this arrangement initially although he ended up self-exiled to Hong Kong soon after. Four years later, Bao Dai returned as the Chief of State (not king or emperor) under the Associated States of France (French reclaimed Vietnam militarily twenty days after Ho Chi Minh proclaimed the DRV). He attempted to use his influence for Vietnam's independence from France, with limited success.Written 23 January 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
