The food was really delicious and the instructions were easy to follow. It was so much fun to go to the market and pick up some of the ingredients for the cooking. It was the perfect size of the group and we had a lot of time to talk to each other as we did the cooking. - Erin12 contributionsThis is a must-do activity in Hanoi. As a foodie, it’s one of the highlights of my Vietnam holiday. You learn so much about Vietnamese cooking, in a small group (so much better to learn more), cook with quality ingredients and make the most delicious meals.
The day started with a guided tour around the food markets. You get to try some of the local ingredients and learn so much about what they are used for. You even get to try some of them.
The cooking class is held in the most beautiful location with a private garden, where the herbs, fruits and vegetables are grown. You get to cook outside at your own cooking station beside a fire and it’s so much fun. Ruby, our host and teacher was so nice and passionate. We had a great time with her!
I highly recommend this class if you want to have the real Hanoi coffee experience !

- Alex S2 contributionsThis was an amazing experience! Me and my girlfriend had the pleasure to even have the cooking class only for the 2 of us (so cool that they still held the class). Ethan, our instructor was excellent! He was super fluent in English and explained us so many different things, starting from local market insights, to cooking skills and even Vietnamese cultures & traditions. The cooking room was very nice and well equipped. The ingredients were partially homemade which is a nice extra touch.
