Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

What travellers are saying
- Amanda K7 contributionsTravelling as family of 4 in a “luxury cabin”. Rooms were clean and set up when we arrived with water snacks and breakfast. We were early so got off train and got some dinner. Would recommend have dinner before the train. Air con works well and watch out for train street from the train quite soon after leaving the station.Written 20 December 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Scenery was nice not outstanding lots if rice fields but pleasant

Cabin door is lockable. Welcome basket has water, beer, fruit, toothbrush, crisps. Don’t need to bring snacks. Toilets have a charm & pungent aroma. Take toilet roll just in case. Take flip flops; floors are suspect. Food trolley serves noodles / cold beer & drinks / popcorn (Tiger beer was 50p). Mad rush to disembark in the morning. NO WIFI. Plugs to recharge phones etc. Take eye mask; blinds r not so good. Noisy bottom bunk. Walls paper thin. Overall quite an experience.Written 1 September 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- digitalrocCalgary, Canada2,140 contributionsNot an attraction that you would seek out, other than one to utilize for transportation. The tour group I was with had an overnight train to Hue, and I can tell you that was an experience I do not want to do over.Written 17 January 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
