We intially talked to one of the travel agents over email and text, telling her our travel plans, what we wanted to do and we received a full list within a day or two with many different tour options and it’s full itinerary that ranges from day trips outings in the city to overnight cruises. We used their service in Hué and Ha Noì, asking about outings within and outside of the city. In both places, we opted for day trips. We especially loved the one in Hue, where we had a tour with Ms. Hong. She spoke English. Her and her husband drove two of us around hue and the country side, explaining the architectural sights of familial and spiritual meaning, with such a robust knowledge of hue history, sociocultural, religion in Vietnam and Vietnam at large, we learned so much from that day. none the less, we ended in a cooking class on her family vineyard!Written 10 January 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - triShwongKuching, Malaysia17 contributionsPrior to my trip, i had read many negative reviews about this Train service so, it's an understatement to say i was really nervous. To my surprise, my cabin shared with 3 other strangers was pretty pleasant - the cabin was pretty clean and we saw no roaches. However, the cleanliness of the sheets is questionable as mine had a smell (travel with a sleeping bag liner) The AC was directly above our heads on the top bunk so, being frozen the entire night was very unpleasant. The public toilet was smelly but, if you're an Asian living in Asia like myself, it isn't anything too terrible, lol. The train left and arrived on good time. Hot drinks are available first thing in the morning, if you are ready to pay (20k per cup). Overall, the entire experience was much, much better than anticipated. The flying site is just 50km away from the old town. Just heading south with the highway Thang Long, then turn left heading to Xuan Mai then 10 more kms to reach Đồi Bù (núi bé)
